Character A is a monster that Character B is/has been hunting.
A.) No bonus!
B.) During a hunt, Character A gets attacked and/or possessed by whatever they're hunting and is now a monster themselves. They could be aware or not yet that they are, and how Character B reacts is up to you.
C.) Character A is unknowingly actually the monster (or in some connection with the monster) that Character B is hunting.
D.) Character B is trying to convince Character A to let them try to help change them back, but Character A kind of doesn't want to and likes the new form a bit.
E.) It's been years since Character A and Character B have seen each other face to face, but while on a case, Character B comes across Character A. At first they're both shocked and excited to see the familiar face, but what they don't know is it's not the same person they knew before. (Bonus: Character A was actually left behind by Character B, and shortly after attacked and became the monster they currently are, so they hold a bit of a grudge.)
F.) Make one up!
