1.) Morning After
No one likes having to deal with the morning after, but this one is just especially awkward.
A.) One Night Stand-
Character A & Character B met at a bar (or whatever) the previous night and ended up hooking up with Character A not knowing about Character B being a hunter/creature/etc. The next morning when they get up, they start talking anyway and it somehow gets spilled.
B.) Partners-
Character A and Character B are hunters on a case together and haven't really considered any romance between them. However one night they do end up hooking up and the next day are trying to still figure out if that night meant anything or was just a casual hookup.
C.) Make one up!

2.) Casual Hookup
Character A has had feelings for Character B that they tried to keep down, maybe it's not the first time they've hooked up. However, Character B doesn't think of Character A that way. They're looking for a more casual relationship. Maybe they're scared of getting hurt, or afraid of attachments commitment may bring. Maybe they're just not into that type of relationship. Whatever the reason, Character A grows sick of constantly pushing their feelings down.
A.) No bonus!
B.) Never Enough
Character A is sick of constantly never being good enough to Character B. They finally just lose it at Character B one night, sick of being treated like a plaything.
C.) Jealous?
Character B has never been good at expressing their feelings. They do care for Character A, but they're just not good at showing it. However, one night when their out together, Character C (can be a canon character, or just an OC) ends up flirting with Character A, and never has Character B felt more jealous as they go over and pull Character A away from them. (Bonus: Character C is well aware of both's feelings and knows the only way to break a confession from Character B is to spark jealousy, so their flirting with Character A was really just to trick Character B into finally coming clean.)
D.) Make one up!
