Chapter 9

HYUNJIN'S DIARY

So apparently I'm an alpha... I know, shocking, right?

After that whole alpha thing, everyone kind of went their own ways. Jisung shifted back and went to rest with Minho. Changbin and Felix decided they were going to run around the forest together. It was Felix's idea. I guess Felix has a big influence on Changbin. Wooyoung and San asked me if I was okay before they left. My answer in my mind was hell no, but what came out was, I'll be fine. Chan you asked? Well... he shifted back, stared at me in bewilderment, eyes wide and mouth wide open, and went to speak before I freaked out and ran away.

Yes I know. I should have just listened, but for all I knew, he could have been I'm his bitchy state and was about to bite my head off. I didn't want to deal with that! I was already dealing with apparently being a alpha! I can't be an alpha! If anything it should be Chan or Changbin! Not me! What was the universe thinking!? I'm not worthy of being an alpha!

Hyunjin began to get angry, his pen almost ripping the paper before he tossed it to the side and slammed his book shut.

"UGH!" Hyunjin yelled out, laying in his back and covering his face with his pillow.

"You okay Jinnie?" Felix asked as he walked out of the bathroom, putting in some minimalistic earrings.

"No! Why did I have to be the alpha!? It should have been Changbin or even Chan!" Hyunjin's voice spoke, muffled by his pillow.

"Okay Jinnie. I need you to calm down. If you don't, the chandelier is going to fall." Felix explained.

Hyunjin took the pillow off of his face, tilting his head slightly to looking at the swinging chandelier. Unfazed, he took a couple deep breaths, trying to control his magic.

"Is it hard to manage your magic with the whole, getting easily upset because your a wolf, thing?" Felix asked with wavy hands.

Hyunjin huffed, rolling his eyes but still answering. "Yes. It's probably the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with. You know, besides current events."

"I shouldn't have left you alone during that. I'm so sorry!" Felix apologized as he sat on Hyunjin's bed.

"It's alright Felix. I just ended up going to sleep right away when I got back. It's not a big deal."

"But it is to me! Your support to be my friend, and friends are supposed to watch out for one another!"

"Felix." Hyunjin spoke out as he sat up, placing his pillow back to its rightful spot. "I understand where your coming from, trust me I do. But, you don't always need to be by my side. There are times when I just need to be alone to think a little bit about whatever happens. It's something I have done for a while now. If I ever start to over think, I turn to my art, and if my art doesn't help, then that's when I'll go to someone."

"That doesn't sound very smart." Felix said with a pout.

Hyunjin chuckled, placing his hand on Felix's shoulder. "It's smart for me Lix. How about this. Next time when something happens, I trying going to either you or a staff first and see how that works. Alright?"
