Hello! It's Kuri Again about planning more than just the plot of your story. On a more specific note, romance. I've seen a lot of my writing friends struggle in writing romance. Have any of you guys tried to plan out romance instead of just randomly writing a thought down?

Again I've put steps on how you can plan out romance. (Disclaimer: This isn't supposed to force you into doing this, this is simply to guide you.)

Planning Romance

1. Purpose for them to love each other, it's what you gonna build off of.

2. Plan out the outcome FIRST, Ik most people write it the other way around but please do it this way it helps with the no-reason relationship.

3. Plan out the obstacles in this relationship since it's going to be more realistic the more they go through.

4. Put Those main factors along with more included "Helping" steps for the readers to be more engaged.

5. Add some tropes! Maybe some familiar ones to build off of.

6. Proofread this and make sure it's not just thrown ideas, also take breaks for fresh perspectives.

7. Make sure you spend time with the characters so the audience has bonding time with the characters.

8. Make sure you go into detail on what your main focus is in love scenes if your main focus is the girl go into detail with her.

9. Love scenes can have multiple different effects, depending on the character or how your story goes it should impact your character in the future.

10. Make sure if you're moving from one love scene to another you make it smooth, it can't just be straight up in love and then sad. You have to tell the reader why are they saying this at this moment.
