'GOD DANG CHEESE AND CRACKERS WHY DID I DO THAT?!?'

The knocks on the door caused my knuckles to turn slightly red, but that was the least of my worries, as you could tell.
I was so nervous, I could practically start sweating any second now!

As I was internally freaking out, I heard the door slowly creak open.
The door opened fully, revealing...
Sunny, of course! My head was still up in the clouds, though not fully realizing that Sunny was right in front of me.

I blinked a couple of times, and I looked down at him.
"Oh hey, Sunny!" I smile.
Sunny just waved at me. He isn't that much of a talker now, but I suppose he didn't talk that much 4 years ago.

He took a few steps forward and out into the sun. He squinted as the light reached his eyes. Well, that's what 4 years inside would do to ya.
"So.. where to, Sunny?" I ask.
He simply shrugged and turned his head behind me. "...we could go to the park.." I wasn't quite expecting to hear his voice, I raised an eyebrow as I heard it.

"Oh wow.. You got a real nice voice there, Sunny!"
"Kinda caught me off guard!"
I rub my cheek sheepishly..
"But yeah, we could go to the park."
I grab his hand and start to walk towards the park.

I never did have nice memories there.. Especially the ones where I was alone...

*FLLLLASSSSHH BACCCKKK* (reference to something.. I wonder what..)

I was reading one of the limited addition 'CAPTIN SPACEBOY COMICS'
Until two familiar faces approached me. "Hey, look, it's that dweeb, Kel!"
I glance up at the sound of a voice, that voice being Kimberly, and.. Aubrey? Did she bleach her hair, or somthin..?

"Wha-" I couldn't finish even a single word until Kim snagged the book I was holding away from me. "Let's see what we got here..! ...psh.. Captain spaceboy?" She snickered.
"What type of geeky stuff is this crap?"

"H-hey! Give me that back! That was a present from someone!!" I yelped as I tried to get a hold of the book.
"OoOo~, who's it from? Your boyfriend?~" Kim said as she tossed it to Aubrey. My face became red out of embarrassment and anger.

"Why can't you just give it back!"
I ask frantically.
"Nahh.. we could make good use of this." Aubrey stated as she slowly started to rip the comic.
My eyes widened in horror as the ripping stopped, and the comic was in half. "Look. You have two books now." Aubrey said, with a sinister smile.

I didn't respond. I just watched as she let go of the two pieces, them both falling on the ground.
"Let's get going." Aubrey said as she turned around. "Oh, and Kel." Aubrey started. "You should give up on trying to be friends. It's pathetic."

I look down at the two ripped parts of the comic, crouching down beside them. 'Why is she like this..?'
'We all used to be friends..'
Before I could notice, I see drops coming down on the pages.

I was crying.

Dammit, not again..
I sit down, picking up the two halves of what used to be my birthday present. Or at least the birthday from last year. It seemed like everyone else forgot it was my birthday... Even my own family.

But I still had this comic from Sunny. But it's gone now..
It's gone..
I hugged the pages close to my chest as I started to sob.
'YOU'RE SO PATHETIC.. YOU RUINED SUNNY'S BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR YOU! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?!'

My head hurts so bad.. I think I should go back home..

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"..kel.."
"HUH?!" I flinch.
"we're here." Sunny said quietly.
I look around, and yes, we are indeed at the park.
"Oh.. Sorry bout that.. my head was stuck in the clouds again."
I say, rubbing the back of my neck nervously.

Sunny pov]

"Oh.. Sorry bout that.. my head was stuck in the clouds again." I raise an eyebrow. Kel was.. acting weird..
He's been acting weird the first time he got me out of the house. And not like his normal weird.. like.. concerning weird.

I opened my mouth to speak, but I couldn't find any words. So I just stayed silent. I look around the park, taking in everything. How nostalgic..
I sigh contently and look towards Kel.

"..are you okay..?" I asked.
Kel began to look visibly nervous as his eyes dilated slightly.
"Oh..! Uh, yeah, I'm good! Never been better." Kel said with a grin. There was something off about him.. His smile didn't reach his eyes like it always did. Instead.. it felt empty.

'I'm looking way more into this than I should.. it's probably nothing..'
I think to myself.
'Right?'
