The air in Daffodil Bay is beginning to warm and the light nights are growing longer. The clocks have just gone forward and Spring is starting to bloom. We see a shot of the beach in the sunlight and the daffodils that have grown around it. We then see an exterior shot of a small block of apartments a couple of streets behind the beach.

Start Again by Gavin James plays over the exterior shots.

Is this place where I belong?
Lately I've been thinkin' on the last train home
That all my dreams have come and gone
Is this fate, a twisted game
'Cause I've been tradin' high for heart
For high for life that means nothing
I won't live and die
Under these same skies

Go, it's all the same
Maybe we should find a place
Where no one knows our name
And we can start again

Daisy is sat at the desk in her apartment searching for cheaper accommodation on her laptop. She soon gets bored and picks up her Samsung phone up from the desk. "Katarina!" she beams into the phone in her West Midlands accent. "Yeah I was just wondering if you want to do something this afternoon. I'm bored and I... Oh? Oh yeah, course. You're taking your daughter to the zoo in Tenby. No, no I get it. Maybe another day then? Yeah, cya." Daisy throws her phone down and moans, "I need to find some friends without children." She runs her hands through her hair, pushing strands out of her nest-ish bun. Daisy fixates her eyes back on her laptop and begins typing on a social media community group. Are there any postgrad students out there looking to make some friends? Could grab some drinks at Bill's Bar tonight. 8pm. Anyone up for it?

The camera pans around a small beach house, number 16 Pembroke Road, around the corner from the beach. Naomi is making a healthy lunch in the open-plan kitchen and her partner, Harry is on his phone on the couch. His phone dings and he pulls up the notification. The screen shows it as Daisy's post in one of the university social media groups. Wouldn't miss it, Harry comments. "Babe, we're heading out tonight." Naomi looks up at him. "Might you tell me where we're going?" Harry nods. "A wee postgrad meet up. Chance to meet new people and all that. It's at Bill's anyway so drinks are on me." Naomi considers it. Initially she doesn't look into the idea but then she has a spark of thought. "Let's take Evelyn. Will you forward it to her for me?" Harry nods and does what his girlfriend says. "Thanks," Naomi replies with a bright smile. "She could do with some friends who aren't just me."

Evelyn walks along the beach and stops at the burger kiosk. "Any free burgers going?" she asks her brother. His hair is equally as brunette as hers but he is a little shorter than she is. "You're gonna get me into trouble, Evie," Luke whispers back at her. Her shoulders shrug as if she doesn't mind but her phone distracts her. A message from Harry. "What does he want?" she breathes out under her breath. Evelyn reads the message about meeting in Bill's and rolls her eyes. "Here's your burger." Luke hands over the burger to his sister. "But only because I'm stealing the lounge tonight. Ella and I are having a games night. Bit of Xbox and stuff." Evelyn huffs and replies 'fine' to Harry's message.
