The episode opens with Harry lying on the couch and Naomi in bed alone. Naomi gets up and passes him on the way to the kitchen but frowns and doesn't say anything. Both of their phones ping at the same time and Harry opens the text.
From Levi: Moving outta these apartments, anyone want in on a shared student house? Me mates dropped out last minute.
Harry replies: I'll get my answer to you shortly.
We go to Levi's new house. He sighs realising there's far too much space for just him. Thankfully text replies start to come in.
From Daisy: I mean, sure, so long as it's not just us. That would be awkward.
From Levi: Nothing awkward about it, but no, won't be just us.
From Billie: With your smelly feet? No way.
From Billie: That was a joke. Just been chucked out of halls, I need somewhere ASAP.
From Levi: Why'd you get chucked out?
From Billie: It was only weed. Not even my weed.
From Levi: ...
Luke goes round to Ella's house, we can hear arguing coming from Naomi's bedroom and Ella looks flustered when he turns up on her doorstep. "Is everything okay, El?" he asks her, taking no time at all before he makes himself comfortable next to her on the couch. "They've been like it all night." She raises her voice and adds, "they're doing my head in!!!" The arguing goes silent soon after that. "We could go for a walk?" Luke suggests. "Sounds like they have some things to sort out." Ella nods in agreement to Luke's suggestion.
In Naomi's bedroom, she is still with Harry. "I think you should move in with Levi," Naomi breathes out, not in an unkind way. "You don't officially live here, your rental runs out next week and it isn't the best time to have you moving in here." Naomi takes hold of Harry's hands gently. "It's been a year, shouldn't we be living together?" Harry tries to object. "Harry, I don't know how we get past this. We both want opposite things out of life and yet, I don't want to let you go," Naomi breathes out softly, with regret. "Are you considering ending things?" Harry questions.
A Rock and a Hard Place by Bailey Zimmerman starts to play.
We've been talking 'bout forever since we been together Something 'bout a ring makes you think we're better off with all this But we're caught up in between A rock and a hard place, red wine and mistakes
"No. I don't know. Maybe..." Naomi chews on her bottom lip and then shakes her head. "We have something good, I don't want it to end. I really don't." Harry looks away from her and starts pacing the room. "Sounds like you can't decide. Guess I'm easy to just consider throwing away. I'll see you later." Harry walks out, pulling the door shut with force as he leaves. Naomi shivers with the shock of the sound of it slamming and falls down onto her bed with tears in her eyes.
