"Is the army in position?"

"Yes, your Majesty."

"Good. Start the attack."

It was a nice, peaceful day in the Fire Kingdom.

Yan had just finished his training sessions. Soon, he was going to be a warrior. At least that's what he thought. He knew that he still had to wait 10 years to become a warrior, but time seemed to fly by so quickly that he couldn't wait.

He had begged his father to let him train ever since he turned 3 years old, and his father finally agreed to let him train.

He couldn't wait to tell his father that he destroyed his first-ever training dummy. He was running towards the palace as fast as he could, running past some guards and into the throne room where his parents were.

"Dad! Dad!" Exclaimed Yan. "Guess what! Guess what!"

His father looked at him. "What is it, Yan?" He questioned.

"I destroyed my first training dummy!" Said Yan with glee.

His father sighed. "You're not supposed to destroy them, kid." He was cut off by Yan's mom.

"Oh shush, you! Let him enjoy his little victory!" She turned to look at her son. "That's great, sweetie! Mind explaining to me how you destroyed it?

"Sure!" Yan went over to his mother. She picked him up and sat him down on the throne, next to her. "I ran towards it, then I jumped on it, and then my claws caught on fire! And then it burned and it turned to ash."

"Well it seems like you got your powers earlier than me and your father expected." Said his mom.

"Really? That means I can be a warrior.." Yan's sentence came to and end when the doors to the throne room burst open to reveal a panicked guard.

"Your Majesties!" Yelled the guard.

"What happened?" Asked Yan's father.

The guard stopped running, panting heavily as he came to a stop, blood dripping out of his neck.

"We... We're under attack!" The guard struggled to say as he was choking on something.

Yan's father got down from the throne and went closer to the guard.

"What happened to you?" He asked.

The guard couldn't respond as he kept choking. Soon, a black foggy liquid-like susbstance came out of the wounds on his neck and wrapped around his neck, suffocating him.

The others could only watch in horror as the guard kept choking, trying desperately to breathe, before he eventually dropped dead to the floor, his fur being stained by the blood that dropped out of his neck. As soon as the guard's body fell to the floor, the black foggy substance disappeared.

Yan's father backed up a bit. None of them had time to process what had just happened as multiple screams could be heard from outside. Screams of terror mixed with screams of rage.

Loud thudding could be heard outside the palace as more and more screams could be heard.

Yan's father turned to look at Yan and his mother.

"Take Yan and run." He said.

"But I can't leave you here!" Protested Yan's mother.

"I said take him and run!" He yelled.

Before she could say anything else, more guards rushed into the room, blocking the door so that the attackers couldn't get in.

Multiple giant black foxes ran in, fighting with the guards and easily overpowering them.
