After the sleepover with Connie I went home but before that I got all the teams number and was added to the group chat they had. Tomorrow was the Hawks vs Ducks game and I have heard bad things about the hawks and how like they will do anything to win.

I had to admit, I was a little nervous but I think we could beat them. As I was about to go to bed I hear a ding coming from my phone I open it up and see a text from the group chat.

We all say goodnight in the chat and I plug my phone into my phone charger and close my eyes thinking about the game tomorrow.

Time skip GURLYSS

I woke up to my annoying ass alarm, I groaned and got out of bed. I looked at my phone to see the time. 8:15. The game didn't start till 12 but we had to be at the rink at 11:30 so I thought I'd get a good rest and wake up on time. I walked downstairs to be greeted by my mom and dad at the kitchen table. "Good morning." I said sleepily. "Good morning sweetheart!" My parent said at the same time. I got my breakfast which was cereal, I got up and went back to my room to get ready.

I put on my Nike legging and crewneck with some air forces, I brushed my hair and teeth. I put my hair up into a ponytail and gathered my hockey things. I sat down at my vanity and just put on chapstick and a little bit of mascara. Not a lot since I will be sweaty but good enough to impress Adam, damn I am really falling for him am I?

I checked the time and it was 11:06 woah time flew fast. I put on my lucky bracelet that my best friend Macy got me at our first hockey game cuz I was nervous. Ever since then I have worn it to every game I played. QI walked down the stairs to see my mom and dad waiting for me. "Ready to go sweetie?" My mom asked. "Yea mom let's go." I put my gear in the trunk and we all hop in the car and drive to the rink. Once we made it, I started to walk towards the locker room when my mom stopped me, "sweetie good luck on your game we will find some good seats." "Yea kick some ass kiddo!" "Thanks mom and dad." I hugged them both and made my way towards the locker room.

I walk in and everyone is already there just messing around. "Hey lilah how are you doing?" Charlie asked, "yea I'm good Charlie thanks for asking." I smiled and he nodded. "Hey Adam excited for the big game?" I asked him trying to lighten up his mood. "Not really there gonna be gunning for I know it!" Adam said freaking out. "Hey calm down it will all be okay, I will make sure you don't get hurt ok." "Ok thanks lilah you always know what to say." He said. I hugged him and he was taken a back at first but then he quickly hugged back. I hear a click coming from a camera and I look over to see Goldberg taking a picture of us. "Aww love birds." He teased. "Shut up Goldberg!" Me and Adam said at the same time. All he did was give me the photo and walked on the ice to warm up. I was confused but just stuck the photo in my bag and got change, then went to go warm up with the rest. I look over to the other half of the rink and see two boys staring me and banks down one was straight up glaring and the other one with a smirk on his face. Oh this is going to be a long game.
