Delilah's pov I woke and realized today is the day Bombay leaves for the minor leagues. I get up and make my bed and head downstairs for breakfast. I see my mom making breakfast, "good morning sweetie how'd you sleep?" It was good but I have to go to the end of the corner by the store to say goodbye to coach Bombay cuz he leaves for the minor leagues." I tell her. "Ok hun but what time do you have to be there?" "It's around 12:30." "Ok be back before dinner." "Okay mom." By the time we had finished our little conversation I was done breakfast so I went upstairs to get ready.
I got dressed, brushed my hair and teeth, and did makeup. I put on Adams hoodie and put my perfume.

I walked down the stairs and I looked at my watch and it was already 12. I grab some Air Force ones and put them in my bag. I say goodbye to my mom and out my roller blades on outside. When I get to the corner I already see a bunch of my team mates. "Hey guys" I yelled as I made my way over to them,
"Hey Lilah!" They yell back. "So where did you get the hoodie?" Adam ask with a smirk on his face. "Oh a friend told me to keep it." I said smirking back. He chuckled.
We see coach Bombay lining up to say goodbye to everyone. "Don't take any bad dives okay?" "Just remember, keep your head up man." "Cake eater." "Thanks for everything coach." I said. "Remember, strength not concentration." "And for gods sake, soft hands." "Anything else?" "Yea, have fun out there coach." "I must be crazy trying out for minors, I'm going to be going up kids half my age." "Just have a good try out Gordon, one step at a time." They smiled and kissed and everyone started cheering. He started to board the bus but then called out one last thing, "HEY DUCKS no matter what happens, I'll see you next season, we got a title to defend." "YEAH!!!!" We all yell out. Me and Adam are laughing and cheering. It couldn't get any better than this.
