They had always been apart of his class. Simply in the background, never really bothering with people they didn't know.
He never really noticed them until recently.
Biology. Their teacher, Ms. Herring had sat them down beside eachother for the new school year.
Of course being the outgoing boy he is, Leo had called out to his new classroom-desk-sharing neighbour who was late to class.
They looked around, already seeing people in their seats.
He waved to them. The person infront of Leo sighing almost annoyed at his antics.
''Hey! You sit here. Beside the one and only. Me.'' Leo said excitedly, like a puppy. He adored meeting new people. Always outgoing and funny. At least, he thinks he's funny.
They looked around a little more, the biology teacher had gone into the back to get the text books they'll be using for the rest of the year. They then sat down beside him. Putting their bag down on the floor, along with their coat and sat down on the stool next to him.
''I'm Leo, a pleasure.'' He smiled. Now that he thought about it, he never actually knew their name, despite going to the same school for years.
''Y/n, nice to meet you too.'' They smiled.
Y/n, that names sound right.
''We're biology partners, pity it isn't chemistry.'' He flirted. They raised a brow.
''Wow, how long did it take to come up with that one?'' They asked, putting their elbows on the shared desk and their head in their hands.
''Why? You like it? Theirs plenty more where that came from.'' He grinned.
Y/n sighed, rolling their eyes as the biology teacher came in with a mountain of books in her hands.
''Okay class. These will be your books for the year-''
A note was passed infront of them. Y/n, looked back at Leo, who was looking at the teacher. They opened the note, still paying attention.

Y/n sighed, a small smile on their face as they put the note inside their pocket and looked back at the teacher.

''Donnie, whaaat are you doing?'' Leo asked his twin as they were out on patrol one night, the dark sky contrasting the bright light's of New York which were almost blinding.
''Well Y/n sits next to you in biology so I'm warning them about your habit of not doing your homework.''
''What? I do my homework!'' Leo defended. Donnie raised a brow.
''You copy my homework, or get it off April. You do it, just not by yourself.''

"Yes. They were the only other capable person in my Science class last year." Donnie claimed. His phone buzzed.
''What did they say?'' Leo asked, moving across the kitchen to peek at Donnie's phone.
