Hero's and Villains.
Always fighting for something. Here in New York, there are too many criminals to count. The most wanted of which hanging on posters and all over the news stations.
These pages contain no pictures, just a price. Nobody has ever been able to catch these people. All the police ever get are people claiming to see humanoid creatures, Huge difformed Turtle people.
The police didn't beleive them.
You did.
Because one had recently taken a liking to you.. or at least, liked to bug you at work.
He was loud, cocky and abnoxious. Completely unlike you. He acted before thinking. It was all or nothing with him.
''So, what do you think?'' He asked, after explaining the whole premises of the new Jupiter Jim episode that had came out last night.
You didn't even get a chance to watch it before it was all spoiled by one talking turtle.
''Please just order.'' You begged from the other side of the counter. There were people waiting in line behind him, you had half a mind to just kick him out but.. he's one of Hueso's favourite customers so you'd probably get fired if you did.
''Oh-uh.. let me think..'' He spoke a green three fingered hand on his chin. It still looked odd but not as odd as having a living skeleton for a boss.
''Are you on this menu?''
Now, this isn't the first time he's asked this question. And yet, everytime it gets you. Every. Time.
You can't help the fact that when he calls for you in those stupid Spanish terms of endearment, like, mi amor or even mi vida, your brain gets all frazzled. Your heart strings pull and face flares up in a red shade.
Its stupid..
But nice.
''No, I'm not. Hurry or I'll just put you down for a meat feast.''
''I'm a vegetarian.'' He lied. You've seen him eat an entire pepperoni pizza no problem before.
''Did I ask?''
He grinned, his wide smile making your red face so much worse.
''I'll have a hawaiian.'' He then said, putting the cash on the counter and waving lazily at you as he walked away to go sit down and wait for his pizza.
You sighed, he can be so much to deal with sometimes. But it's so nice all the same. You can be as blunt as you want with him and he bounces right back. You could not talk at all and he'd carry a one sided conversation but still somehow keep you enraptured in it.
He's something else entirely.
Whenever you'd see him skip the que, no matter how long, and order, making everyone groan in annoyance, you couldn't help but laugh or snicker.
Those poor people.
An old lady was yelling at you next.
It was a big contrast to Leo's rant on Jupiter Jim. She honestly caught you by surprise.
And she just kept yelling about Leo.
