OK, so this happened in my early middle school year. I found out that my science teacher, (I'm going to call her Z) was actually the same lady that taught be ESL (English second language)(I was born in Russia and moved to America when I was 6)

I instantly remembered her and became very fond of her-She was very sweet to me when I was in first grade-she taught me everything about grammar and reading!

She recognized me as soon as I stepped into the doorway- she called me "that little angel artist".

After a while, I began seeing Z's more "The Boss" side. She began yelling at kids when they made a small mistake- she would refuse to help kids when they had some innocent problem or question. She made feel kids feel intimidated with her presence.

I was the only one that seemed to be on her good side though. She still smiled at me when I walked by, and complimented me, but I began to feel different- she wasn't the lady I thought she was.

The way I stayed on her good side was that I showed responsibility, helped other kids, and always got my homework done.

I recommend the same thing! If you want to stay out of trouble, follow rules that seem to make sense, (but talk to your parents if you're concerned that some rule is useless and is unfair!)and just be helpful!

That how I survived a teacher with that personality type! Comment below any stories about teachers you've had to deal with!
