Having a good day at school means starting your day out right:
Sometimes, I wake up really late for school and have to race to do all of my chores. I have to walk the dog, do the dishes, and sometimes have to cat-sit early in the morning. I end up getting to class late, and humiliating myself as I walk in soon after class starts. Luckily, there's a way to prevent that. Here are a few tips of getting ready faster:
Before You Go To Bed
1. Before you go to bed, make a schedule map in your head. (or write down if you need to) By a schedual map, I mean this:
7:00- wake up, get dressed
7:10-walk the dog
7:25- come home and eat breakfast......etc.This will help you decide what time is best for you to get up.
2. Set your alarm to the time you need to get up. (The best kind of alarm is the pleasant sounding one, but not so quiet that you miss that alarm and continue sleeping. Do not sleep to a creepy sounding alarm! It can make you start out your day grouchy!)
Which reminds me of a mini story....
Whenever I go to sleep, I make sure my good sounding alarm is on. If I accidentally turned on the really bad sounding alarm, I freak out the moment I open my eyes and have a mini heart attack.3. Make sure you have clean clothes for the morning. If you have time, plan out an outfit for the day ahead!
4. Check your backpack to make sure your homework is in there and everything else you need for the day ahead! You don't wanna realize at school that your homework was on your desk at home!
After You Get Up
1. Wake up at the time you planned on! If you keep holding back, you're going to not have enough time to do everything! It's amazing how we can just pretend we don't know what time it is. I have a habit of setting my alarm and sleeping in an hour later. Don't fall into that trap!
2. Do everything you have on the list!
3. A healthy breakfast is important for starting the day! I would recommend eggs and toast, or a piece of fruit and yogurt! If you're in a hurry, grab a banana or something! Don't leave on an empty stomach, because you right function as well in school.
5. Before you leave, do a final check. Make sure your hair is ok, your t-shirt isn't inside out, or your coat doesn't look weird.
Have fun at school!
