Blake would approach the pier that overlooked the sea of crystal beach. Her eyes would widen as the waves slowly wash up onto the sand before receding back into the ocean. A faunas lifeguard accompanied by a fully armed 4th year team of Beacon students would look out across the ocean, keeping an eye out for anybody that needs help or Grimm. Blake would spot Team RY and JNPR unsuccessfully attempting to set up a volleyball net, while Weiss started to berate the teams for their lack of handyman skills.. Blake would softly smile before walking down the steps toward her teammates to try her hand at setting up the volleyball.
~Mama's Stop & Shop~
Max would cross the street to a double story building with the sign "Mama's Stop & Shop" hanging from the store's roof. He'd push open the door before entering the establishment, an audible bell would be heard as the door closed behind the student assistant. A radio would softly play news from Menagerie, while the sound of a young girl will slightly echo throughout the store. Max would approach the voice, revealing a dog faunas arguing with four little kids.

Dog Faunas: "Alright, but what if I was to drop the price of this one candy bar to 1 lien? Will that get you kids off my back?"
The kids would look at one another before one stepped up.
Kid Mouse faunas: "55 cents, take it or leave it."
Dog Faunas: "Hey! You are lucky I am dropping the price from 2 to 1, now you want to demand more?!" The dog faunas would shout as the kids took a step back, while Max would chuckle.
Max: "I didn't know you were so gullible, Luna." Max would say as Luna looked up before her eyes widen.
The kids would immediately turn back, hearing the voice of the stranger before looking up.
Kid Mouse faunas: "Oh no! It's the ops! Scatter!"
The kids would immediately break off and start running throughout the store. The sounds of their little feet stomping around the store and heading into the seperate aisles would be heard throughout the store. Max would sigh as his eyes would glow green as he immediately vanished from his current position.
???: "AAAAAH!"
???: "DAMN!"
???: "THE HELL?!"
Kid Mouse Faunas: "Guys....we've been captured." The mouse faunas would say defeated as Max now had a hold on each of the kid's wrist.
Max: "To give you kids some credit, you were quite difficult to catch."
Kid Rabbit Faunas: "Really?" The kid would say with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.
Max: "No." Max would say, immediately bringing the kid's morale to the ground. "Now apologize to Luna."
All of the kids would look at one another.
Max: "Kids, don't make me summon the dragon."
All of the kids would immediately look at Luna before bowing their heads.
Kids: "WE ARE SORRY, MS LUNA!"
Max: "Good, Luna can I get 4 candy bars to go?" Max would say as Luna would nod before taking out 4 candy bars and placing them on the counter.
Luna: "That'll be 8 lien, Max."
Max would nod before taking out his wallet. He'd open it briefly, showing a black and white picture of Luna, which got a soft smile from the shopkeeper, before closing it.
Max: "Here ya go." Max would say, now handing over the money before taking the candy bars. "Alright, I need to speak to our shopkeeper, so how about you take these and scram?"
The kids would immediately take their candy bars and run off, not even saying thank you or a nod.
Max: "You alright, Luna?"
Luna: "Yeah, they come by and do that all of the time. Dad or mom is normally here to deal with them though."
Max: "Speaking about your parents, where are they?"
Luna would softly smile.
Luna: "Today is there anniversary, so dad is going to do something special for mom."
Max: "Huh...I can't really see master doing anything creative....other than dropping multiple logs on my head."
Luna: "That was to train you, Maxwell." Luna would say with a roll of her eyes.
Max: "Some training." Max would mutter as Luna's gaze would soften.
Luna: "Speaking about your training...um...how is your role as student assistant?"
Max would lean on the counter as he gazed out at the empty aisles.
Max: "Busy. From grading tests, helping out with the third year research papers, leading study sessions, and still having to keep up on my own assignments as a third year, you don't really find the time to venture out into the big city or to do anything relaxing."
Luna: "I see..have you heard anything from your teammates?"
Max would remain silent as he stared off into the aisle, just the mere mention of his teammates left the student assistant both stunned and also in a sense of nostalgia. His eyes would darken for a moment as the memories of both being a student assistant pales in comparison to his memories as team leader of his own team. Max truly did miss his teammates, and wish that he could be with them every moment of the day, like the good ole days, but right now he is where he is meant to be...even if he does not want to be here.
???: "Max?"
Max would look at Luna as a soft light of comfort would emulate off of her.
Luna: "If I said something wrong, I apologize." Luna would say before hearing the sound of a bell.
Max: "You are good, I just spaced out for a little, Loonie."
Luna: "Oh! Welcome to-Max!" Luna would shout before pointing at the man.
Max: "Wait you named this store after me-" Max would look up as his eyes would widen as a completely exhausted and drenched Jaune would run towards his student assistant. "Mr Arc?"
Jaune: "BIG MONSTER! SEA! CRYSTAL BEACH! TRIED TO FIGHT IT! RUBY TOLD ME TO GET SOME HELP! I RAN HERE! NICE CRAB FAUNAS GAVE ME SOME BREAD PUDDING! 4TH YEAR STUDENTS ARE FIGHTING THEIR HARDEST BUT THEIR LEADER IS INJURED! WE ARE DEFINITELY! MOST SURELY LOSING! OH GOD I NEED TO BREATHE!" *Inhale* *Exhale* "It's not helping!"
Max was stunned for a moment, but he will immediately regain his composure.
Max: "....Did you eat my fuckin bread pudding?"
Luna: "Max, your students." Luna would chimed in, before handing Jaune a bottle of water. "Go help them."
Max: "Fine mom! Let's go, Mr Arc!" Max would say before rushing out of the store with an exhausted Jaune following.
Luna would wave as the duo left the store before turning and looking at a katana hanging from a wall.
