"What. The. Hell?" I asked. He gave me a small smile. I stared at him with a serious expression. "Why'd you do it?" I asked. It took him at least 5 minutes to respond. It was just like when a little kid gets in trouble and they can't speak because they're scared of what is going to happen if they answered. But I, on the other hand, was the parent. I was just waiting for him to say the wrong thing so I could charge. "Jazz" he said. "-I have a small...." He trailed off and I was anxious for his answer. "A small?" I asked. "A small dick" I stared with this blank expression on my face. I had no idea. "But when we. You had. It was. But it" he kissed my cheek. "I'll see you at school mama" he stated quietly. He walked out the door and to his car. I tried to run after him but I was still sore. "Steven. Come back" I got to his car window where he was revving up his engine. I knocked on the solid black window. "Steven roll down the window. Please. Just listen to me" he rolled down the window. "It's ok. You don't have to feel petty for me." "Steven it's ok. I don't care. You-" "I gotta go Jazz. Have a good night, ok" I nodded. "You too" I walked in the house and was greeted by a make out session. I covered my eyes and ran up the stairs to my room before anything could happen. "Get a room" I shouted as I went into the guest room and took to sheets of the bed. I walked to the laundry room and started to load. I walked back in the spray and I found a paper on the floor. It was balled up and I wanted to see what it was, being the nosey girl I am. It had my name, birthday and other personal information. It had the date from three weeks ago. I (state your name) agree to.... The rest was started of in black permanent marker. I decided keep it and show Lilly tomorrow at school. Adrian, Ryan, Brit and Andrea were going to their room. "What are you guys doing taking them to your room?" I asked one Brit and Andrea were inside. "We're gonna give them five minutes in paradise!" Adrian stated licking his lips that I wish I could smack off. My eyes widened. "You can't" I shouted. "What not." "Because I said no" I said folding my arms over my chest. Yeah, like they'll listen because you said that, they never listen to you anyways. "ok sure. Goodbye Jazz" Adrian said he then called for Andrea. They walked to the guest room. Ha no sheets. But instead of them coming out and complaining about no sheets, they came out and got blankets and shut the door. I heard everything. The moaning, the breathing, and the groaning. I blasted my music on the doc and covered my ears just so I wouldn't hear it. I decided, since I had nothing better to do, that I'd examine that paper. At the bottom it read 'Copy of the contract'. "Contract?" I wondered aloud. "Hm interesting"
------------ STEVEN'S POV
I searched frantically for that one sheet of paper. The sheet of paper that would determine Jazz's and i's relationship. That one sheet mattered that much. I couldn't find it. I'd searched everywhere. Then it hit me. Like a raindrop from the sky: I'd left my contract at Jazz's house. I began to wonder about the worst case scenarios. What if she saw it and never wanted to talk to me. What if she showed her dad and they come after me. What if.... And that's when Bryan came in. "Goodnight. Thanks again for picking Me up and dropping Lilly off, and staying for the fight that Mathew and I had over Lilly" he smiled. I nodded still with the flash of panic in my eyes, biting my nails like it was a piece of food. "yeah, yeah anytime"
SCHOOL
"Yes Lilly. I told you, the rest is crossed out" I said sighing to the blonde. I'd explained everything to her from the 'crossings' to the 'contract' and she'd still say. "Well, do you know whose it is" Mathew cake up to Lilly and she rolled her eyes. "Baby, I'm sorry. Please forgive me" I stayed quiet, just so Lilly wouldn't add me to the conversation. But, it wasn't Lilly, it was Bryan. "Ok, Jazz" I excelled loudly still looking at the contract. "If Jacob was fighting over you, would you be mad?" I cringed at the name 'Jacob'. "Yes, no? I don't know, I gotta go to the library." I said closing my locker. "Thanks for the help Jazz" I smiled. "Anytime, hey do you think you could ask one of the guys on computer club to do me a favor?" I asked smirking. "Yeah, why can't you do it though?" "Because they'll ask me on a date and I don't want to go on one." I probably sounded like a bratty bitch. Pouting and shit. Lilly turned to Mathew. "I forgive you, and we can get back together" she smiled. I was completely lost. "You two broke up?" She nodded. "So about the computer club" I said interrupting what was about to become a make out session. We walked to the basement, walked down a flight of stairs and turned five corners which in all took twenty minutes just to get to the computer club. Just like in Lemonade Mouth, the computer club wasn't important to our principle. He cared about education-which I though computer club was educational- and sports. But this wasn't a Disney movie from 2005 or whenever it came out. This was reality. The real world. There was no starting a band and following your dreams and shit like those Disney movies tell you. I didn't care about that, I just needed to figure this paper out. "Computer club. I'll wait outside in case there's some trouble" I nodded and walked in. The geeks were all around a computer screen looking at some YouTube video. "Um, hi" they looked up and some perched their glasses on their noses. "I have a question about this paper" I smiled. "You're a girl. We've never talked to girls before" weirdo "You should. It's awesome, I guess" "let me see the paper" I handed the 'captain' the paper with the x's and scratches. He observed it closely and steadily. "We may be able to figure out who did this" "awesome" "but we want something in return" I nodded. Brace yourself, it's gonna be something weird. "Ok, ok anything" "I want a date with you" I knew it! The weirdness continued. "Um, I have a boyfriend" I smiled. "Do you want me to figure this out or what?" He asked. "Yes but-" "then go on a date with me" I sighed deeply. A date with the computer geek. If Steven found out, he'd kill him. "Fine" he typed on the computer like there was no tomorrow. I'd never seen anyone type that fast except for my mom. "Well it belongs to Either Jonathan Taylor, Daniel Gregge or Steven Newell. I hoped it didn't belong to Steven. I hoped with all my heart, but the clues were making sense. I'd never heard of the first two people, and Steven was the only one who'd been to my house. "Can you figure out what it says?" I asked. He shook his head. "Sorry. This computer's out of date. We don't have the money to get a new one" he frowned. I wonder who 'he' was. "This is the Windows 8 PC right?" I asked. "Yeah so" I smiled at them. Time to use my talents. Secret talents. "I may be able to fix this" "you. Yeah right" he started. "-you're a girl. You can't do anything" I gasped. "You sexist jerk!" I screamed. I walked over to the computer to fix it, only because I wanted to show them a girl could do anything a boy could do. "There it's all fixed. All you had to do was push F1, control, F3, F5 and shift and now, it runs like Usain Bolt in the London Olympics" the boys stared shocked. "What, didn't think a girl could do anything a boy could do" I stated bitterly. "Haha. Would you like to join computer club?" I nodded. "Great. Our meeting are on Tuesdays" I smiled and walked out. "Did you get it" "ha Barely"
