Mikey's POV:
We left Y/n at the lair while we rescued Cody. I showed them the trail of blood I saw the other night. It was still there. They really need a better janitorial system. I thought. We did not know what to expect, so we followed the trail with as much caution as possible. It lead us to an old looking, two-story house with a large puddle of blood dried up on the side.
I folded and unfolded my hands, trying to distract myself from the scene before me. "That's not concerning." Leo commented, gazing at the blood as he fiddled with his mask tails. "What happened here?" Raph questioned, concern written all over his face. "Looks like there was a fight." Donnie answered as-a-matter-of-factly, seemingly unfazed as he tried to open the door. It was locked.
Suddenly, we heard screaming from inside the house. Raph, not wasting another moment, burst in through the door with pure force yelling, "Rescuing like a boss!" Leo, Donnie, and I quickly followed behind. The scene we saw before us was horrific. A small goat Yokai was tied to a chair with a larger Yokai hunched over him with a knife. I noticed a large gash across the smaller Yokai's eye and assumed that was the origin of his screams. Rage boiled in my chest, and my body seemed to have a mind of its own.

My kusari-fundo burst through the larger Yokai's head, splattered blood everywhere as her body fell to the floor. Everyone stared in shock including myself. I snapped out of it after a moment and walked over to the only remaining Yokai in the room with a bright smile on my face as if nothing had happened.
"Hi. You're Cody, right?" I asked the clearly frightened goat Yokai. He just nodded his head. "I'm Mikey. That's Donnie, Raph, and Leo." I told him, pointing to each one of my still dazed brothers. "Y/n sent us to rescue you. Are you okay with that?" He nodded his head again.
My brothers snapped out of their trance as I began untying Cody. They blinked for a moment as they tried to process what they just witnessed before collectively deciding to ignore it and began helping me untie Cody. The ropes were on tight and left marks on the young Yokai's skin and fur.
Upon closer inspection, I noticed that he also had a broken leg and a slash across the left side of his forehead along with his injured right eye. "Poor guy.." Raph whispered as he picked up the injured goat, cradling him in his arms.
The walk home was silent aside from grunts and whines of pain from Cody or the occasional "Are you okay Mikey?". Which was stupid. Of course I'm okay. Why wouldn't I be? I only commit murder.
Once we made it to the lair, Raph and Donnie took Cody to the med bay. I made my way to my room, plopped on my bed, and turn up some music as I tried to forget what happened that day.

Am I okay?

Yeah. I'm fine.
