Imperial Crusade

The Dragon's Flame, Nam Chorios,

The hangar of the fortress was filled with Imperial personnel as they stood in a similar formation as the Empire Day parades. Taloh knelt and watched as Vader and Palpatine emerged from the ramp of their Lambda-class Shuttle with the red cloaked Royal Guards standing on the sides of the ramp.

"Rise my friend," The Emperor said.

Taloh then stood back up and walked with Vader and Palpatine.

"The Dragon's Flame will be ready to use shortly," Taloh said. "With Grand Moff Tarkin gone, the Council of Moffs is in disarray."

"I will leave the Council to you Lord Matarrin," Palpatine said.

"Very well," Taloh replied as the trio proceeded across the hangar. "I also seek your approval to launch an Imperial crusade alongside Lord Vader to ensure that the Rebellion does not succeed in destroying our Empire."

"I have already addressed high command of our next plan of attack," Vader said. "They have agreed to your suggestion to launch a military crusade and expand to the outer rim especially after the destruction of Alderaan."

Taloh nodded and directed them towards his throne room. As the trio exited the turbolift, Taloh watched as Palpatine gazed at the Sith Chalice and Sith holocron next to the throne.

"I have received a report that the weapon proved effective against a city full of anti-Imperial rioters," Palpatine said as he sat on the throne. "However, the fortress has never reached its full potential."

"Indeed," Taloh replied.

"I would like for you to test the weapon on the former Separatist capital of Raxus and decimate the capital city," Palpatine said with a small smile. "Let the city burn for choosing to rebel against our sovereignty."

"As you wish my master," Taloh said as he activated his comlink. "General, have the capital city of Raxus targeted and test its full potential."

"Yes Lord Matarrin," General Visken replied. "Commence primary ignition."

Several imperial gunners then activated the superlaser and Taloh, Vader, and Palpatine watched as the superlaser traveled in a supersonic speed and destroyed the Capital City on Raxus forming a large explosion nearly decimating the whole continent in the process.

"Direct hit," Visken told Taloh. "The capital city of Raxus has been destroyed and caused a shockwave destroying the whole continent."

"Well done," Taloh said. "You have made our Emperor proud today."

Palpatine then gave Taloh and Vader a small smile and approached the two slowly as the radio chatter ended.

"Lord Vader," Palpatine said turning his pale, scarred face towards Vader. "You will assist Lord Matarrin in the crusade against the Alliance. There is a rebel task force operating on Tatooine."

"Yes my master," Vader said with deep voice booming. "I will contact the bounty hunter Boba Fett to reinforce our Imperial garrison."

"If I may add," Taloh said. "There is one squad that I also feel would benefit our mission called Nova Squad. I have fought alongside them in the Battle of Dantooine and they have never failed a mission or returned without a lead to defeat the Rebellion."

"Very well," Palpatine replied. "You may bring Nova Squad to Tatooine."

The two Sith Lords then bowed and departed the throne room and arrived at the hangar to depart to their Star Destroyers.
