Life Mate

Laurence POV

After finding out that Jessica is my life mate left me shocked. I really didn't know much about life mates because I never really had one. I loved this. This means that if she is in danger I can sense where she is. Or when she is hurt I can feel her pain. When the witch has to leave the store she finally lets me out. I follow where my brain keeps on telling me to go. It's like a GPS in my head. I walk and walk and walk and walk. I reach where I can sense that she is near but not in danger or hurt in any way. When I find her which is about 20 minutes later she is lying down pacing back and forth like she is mental. When she sees me she gets up and back away slowly. I try to comfort her but she keeps on backing away. When I moved forward, she moved backward. When I finally sneak up on her I bit my arm and force her to drink my blood. I then snapped her neck as she fell to the ground. I carry her to a hotel room across the street. I lay her down on the bed and lay down next to her. Waiting for her to wake up is like a kid waiting for candy that is never going to come. I then drift of to sleep.

Jessica POV

After Laurence snapping my neck. I can now see my body like I am dead. When I touch my body it feels like I am reunited with my soul. I can feel the breath coming back into me. When I wake up it is morning. I look where the window is to figure out where I am. The sun then feels like it is trying to attack me from the sky. I quickly cover my whole face up. I see Laurence next to me sleep but looks like he is just waking up. When he wakes up he hugs me so tight that I could hardly breath. He ask me if I was okay. I told him yes then asked what had happen and why does the sun feel like my enemy. He said "I was trapped by a witch and then I found out that we are life mates-" I stop him where he is and ask him slowly " L..I..F..E.. M..A...T...E...S?!?" He says yes and he explains that it means that we have love for each other that can not be changed. He told me that we can sense when we are near each other and when on of us is hurt. He then starts where he left off. "When she leaves the store I found you. I then gave you my blood and snapped your neck. Welcome to the world of vampires." My eye widen knowing that I am a vampire. I then notice that my gums start to hurt where my pointy teeth are. Everything feels different. I then have a urgent taste for human blood. I tell Laurance and he tells me that we will go out later for "dinner" which he air quotes.

*FAST FORWARD TO NIGHTIME*

Laurence POV

When we go out I bring her to a club where vampires are allowed to be themselves and not try to hide from everyone else. Jessica has her eye on one girl's neck. She thens run up to her and drain her of blood. She drains her so much that she rips her head off. Everyone in the club stares. They then create a circle around Jessica and I. I remember why they were looking at us. There rules is to not kill anyone. They made this rule so if anyone does kill someone the police wont come to then.

Jessica POV

All I see is the crowd getting bigger and bigger around us. I then fell a sharp pain in my shoulder and so does Laurence. I could tell by the look of his face. I look at him and see no blood or wound. I look at my sweatshirt and find a red hole where a wooden bullet just went trough. I fall down to the ground after finding this out. The whole room went pitch black.
