Yule Break

Ronald should be packing after this game hopefully. Either way I need to beg off so I can disappear into my trunk. I've managed to get a few books so far. Maybe I can disappear in a back corner of the library to read. Madam Pince might be able to help me there. Hadrian glanced over having seen Hermione walk up pulling her suitcase behind her. Why would she need her entire suitcase. Does she have a library in it?!

"I see you've packed." Weasley snidely stated towards her.

"I see you haven't." Granger pompously retorted.

"Change of plans. My parents have decided to visit my brother Charlie in Romania. He works with dragons there." Weasley boasted.

Hadrian looked at Weasley wide eyed. What the hell! I thought I was losing both my bookends this break!

"Charming. You can help Harry then. He's going to go look in the library." Hermione ordered both the boys.

"We've looked a hundred times!" Weasley stated exasperated.

"Not in the Restricted Section you haven't" Granger crudely put. "I'll be back after the holidays, I'll be seeing you both then. I expect results boys!" She demanded while she was leaving the great hall to the carriages.

I have my two weeks now. I just need to get out of Weasley's radar. Dammit! Why'd he have to stay here this holiday! Saturday morning brought an all new frost with a fresh blanket of snow. Dammit it's cold. Hadrian added another layer of clothing to bundle up and keep warm from the winter chill. Glancing at Weasley's bed one last time, "I should just leave him. I can lose him better then." He mumbled out. Deciding to do just that Hadrian left the dorm room and went to breakfast. If I can eat quick enough I can be out of there by the time the black hole appears to eat. That is.. IF he appears.. I'll bet no one has decided to wake him up.

"Hiya Harry!" The twins cheerfully stated clapping him on his back each. "Say Harry if you want to avoid Ron then you best be leaving soon. Percy has decided he'd be the one to wake him." George sagely advised.

Hadrian looked at them both wide eyed, "Thanks." he states before rushing off and to the library. I really need to find a place to hide away from both of them. Hopefully the library pans out otherwise I'll have to find a place in an abandoned hallway. Actually..there's a thought there... If I use a ward scheme I'll bet I can find a place to ward and be hidden at the same time. I need to look up Runes and Warding then. Runes is prolly a safer bet to ward the door the way I want. Walking into the library the first thing Hadrian did was go to Madam Pince, "Excuse me Madam. But is there a room here I can use to study peacefully?" Please say there is, please say there is.. Hadrian thought in a mantra.

Madam Pince scowled, answering, "Unfortunately Your Majesty there isn't. All the rooms we did have, have been sealed up by the current headmaster. Something about not wanting to tempt students to be alone with another."

"What a load of rubbish! He knows what he's doing. Giving a piss poor excuse such as that, what else has he done to this school Madam?" Hadrian questioned genuinely upset about the predicament.

Hadrian growled prowling the corridors. I can't believe the old goat removed that much! Checking in each doorway he's come across. No here won't do.. There just isn't enough space.. I need a room that's far off the beaten path.. Somewhere a decent size.. That is so far hidden that neither bookends will come looking for me. Hadrian continues to ponder searching the vast hallways of Hogwarts. "What about it? Can you help me find what I am looking for?" Hadrian muttered, placing his hand on the stone wall of the castle.
