"Have fun at school today sweetheart, and try not to get expelled" Buffy grins at her mom with a little smirk.
"I'll try" she rolls her eyes getting out of the car, it my first day at Sunnydale high school. After burning my old schools gymnasium back in LA, I've been needing a fresh start. You can't blame me saving that whole school from a vampire attack something was bound to happen. Ya I know vampires right who would have though well ever since my parents split up and we moved to a small town called Sunnydale nothing has been normal.
A new school, new friends and new beginning I thought to myself getting out of the car. Everyone was staring at me like I was the shinny new toy of the school, I would expect that after showing up in the middle of March. In a distance willow and Xander were talking " I wonder who this new Buffy girl is" Xander said,
"I heard she got kicked from her old school for burning down the gym" Cordelia butted in.
"Everyone deserves a second chance" willow said, they all agreed and gathered where all the rest of the kids were.
"Hi, I'm Cordelia chase. You must be Buffy the new girl." I smile at her, still a little shocked because she came out of nowhere.
"Yes, would u be able to help find my locker." She takes my hand and brings me all around the school, I get back story's on everyone popular kid, geeks and nerds everything. This girl was a walking Internet.
" And this concludes our tour, ow and by the way we try to stay away from the geeks. There's an example there that's willow, so dorky" she laughs and willow runs away silently. I felt bad for her being treated so badly by the "popular girl" of the school. But I couldn't shoot her down on the first day and not even have a lead to getting a friend. So I stood there and watched Cordelia take all of her power out on willow.
"Well I don't want to be late for class so if there's anything u need, come and find me" she walks away and i finally find mr. Jackson's classroom for history. When I get there i see Cordelia, she waved and told me to come sit with her. When class ended I decided to head to the library to find the history book I was supposed to have. When I got there the librarian, mr.giles seemed to know exactly who is was, like he had rehearsed us meeting. When I got there I asked for history books.
"Are u sure your not looking for this" he slid an old looking book, it had engraved vampires on the cover. I looked at him
"No no no" I said running out of there, not focusing on anything else just keep walking.
"You can't escape your duties" he yelled as I ran out.
At last it was finally lunch, I saw willow sitting at a table over there with a few other guys. I walked over,
"Hey" I said smiling hopping to get some friends.
"Did u want me to move" she said nervously,
"A simple hello would have gone just fine" I looked at her, you could tell I got a smile out of her.
" This is xander, jessie and I'm willow" she trying to make small talk.
Hi, you must be Buffy I'm Xander its a pleasure to meet you" she shook my hand, he was really nice I was hoping we could be friends.
"Hey, Buffy" Cordelia yelled from a distance " are these nerds bugging you" Xander budded in.
"Hey im not a nerd" she completely ignored him. We went on talking about the bronze a club all of them went to and I promised I would go with her only to get her off my back. Willow, Xander, Jessie and I talked for hours about life and school and after that I think I was safe to say I had made some friends. Later that day I headed back to the library, the most dreaded place yet.
"Ok, I have no clue what is going on but I want answers" I stood there more curious than ever.
" Do you know what you are buffy?" He looks down from his pile of books.
" I know that vampires exist"
" Buffy, you are the slayer, one girl in the whole world to stand against the vampires and the dark forces of the world." What we didn't know was that willow and Xander were standing at the door.

Later that night all of us decided to make plans and go to the bronze, it was dark walking down the alley to get there dead silence no one was around till I heard something. I swung back with my know known slayer strength, but there was something about this guy abnormal. We finally stopped to see what each other had to say.
"We're u following me" I said. He smiled, very Broody like a man of the night.
"I came to give u this" he handed me a small box, I opened it and found a silver cross. It was straight silver it was perfect.
"What's the meaning of this" i said
"Let's just say it's to keep you safe" he started to slowly move into the night.
"Who are you" I asked filled with so many questions.
"Call me angle" he grinned,
"Well angle, how will I find u, if your here for a reason" everything rushing trough my brain.
"I will be around" he said grinning like his plan was all working out.
"And what is this a friend offer or something" I was so confused, who was this guy, and how did he know I was the slayer?
" I didn't say I wanted to be friends" and like that he was gone.
