AFTER A MONTH
NANDINI'S POV
We all were seated in the conference hall including Manik as well, we were discussing about the designs for this spring collection
"Sir is this fine?" asked an employee showing him a design and before he could answer he made a weird face as if he wants to puke and ran to the washroom
Everyone in the hall was shocked to see him like this, I wasted no time and ran behind him to find him puking his guts out . I held him from the back and caressed his shoulders and then splashed some cold water on his face.
"What happend Manik" I asked softly
"I don't know why Nandini I am having this vomiting tendency for the past few days and I also feel a bit dizzy sometimes , I guess I have a bug in my stomach. " he said
"Then we should go to the doctor" I said worriedly
"No it's fine I will take some medicines kept at home" he said
"Ok fine but before that let's feed you something, you look so pale" I said and took him to the canteen eventhough he was protesting.
"Here have this coffee first" I said and gave him cup of his favorite black coffee.
I don't know how does he drink this bitter thing!!
As soon as he took a sip of it he made a pukish face and again ran to the washroom and I followed him.
"Oh god Nandini I can't tolerate the smell of coffee " he said while wiping his face with a wet towel after vomiting again
"But don't you love black coffee, then why do you hate it now?" I asked in a puzzled tone
"I don't know why but I just don't like it he said
"And now stop asking me more questions " he said loudly suddenly getting angry
What the hell is wrong with him he was just fine a few seconds ago, you know what he is just acting like a pregnant lady like really he is getting all the symptoms of a pregnant lady, I thought and laughed internally but suddenly my breath hitched when a thought came across my mind, I have heard sometimes the father also gets pregnancy symptoms when the mother is in the first few months of her pregnancy but then it gradually goes away .
Oh god and I also didn't have my periods this month!!!!! and also that night we didn't use any protection
I hope it's not what I think...
