CHAPTER 8- CONFESS?

NANDINI'S POV

I was completing the discharge formalities when I heard Aryaman calling me from behind.

Now what does he want?

"Hi Nandini, how are you" he asked sweetly

"I am fine Aryaman and once again thank you so much for saving aunty" I said

"No no it's ok, anyone in my place would have done the same thing " he said

"Achha Nandini is...um ....is Manik the person you love" he asked all of a sudden leaving me dumbfounded

"Umm ....I....Yes" I shut my eyes close and sighed.

"You really love him a lot na" said Aryaman

"Yes I really do love him a lot" I said while a serene smile played on my lips thinking about him.

"Ok take care, I hope we can stay good friends " said Aryaman

"Sure" I said and gave him  a smile .

"Bye Nandini " he said and left

"Nandini do you love someone " I heard Manik's voice suddenly which left me startled.

No no he shouldn't hear this!! I screamed internally

"Nandini I am asking you something, turn around and look at me" he said with authority

I was too scared to look into his eyes right now because I know one look at him and then I will blurt out everything.

"Nandini " he said and dragged me by my hand to an isolated room and pinned me against the wall

"Look into my eyes" he growled and held me by my chin made me look at him

"I am asking you once again , do you love someone ?" He asked angrily

I looked into his eyes to find pain, jealousy and fear.

"Tell me Nandini " he whispered dangerously coming closer to my face leaving me breathless

"Who is that person, I will kill him" growled Manik and held my arms tightly

"Manik you are hurting me" I whimpered due to pain.

"Tell me Nandini who is it, I won't let him survive " he growled

Manik was right now not in his senses it was like something had possesed him

"Tell me " he said

"No I don't love anyone, I just said it to avoid Aryaman because wanted me to become his girlfriend " I said

On hearing this Manik's expression relaxed a bit and his hold on me loosened.

"I .. I am sorry Nandini, it's just that umm.." he stammered

I don't know why did Manik react so much after hearing that I love someone else, how does it matter to him anyways??

Just then he his phone rang,  it was neyonika aunty

"Yes Mom we are coming " I heard Manik saying

"Nandini let's go Mom is calling" he said and rushed out of the room as if running away from me.

"Weird "

Nyeonika aunty was discharged and now we were on the way to Malhotra Mansion .
Soon after thirty minutes we reached there and aunty with the help of Manik's support entered the house.

"Oh my Nyeo what happened " said uncle worrieldly while Manik made her sit on the couch.

"Mom what happened " said  a worried Alia
