My Hero Of Green

Chapter 2-3/24/23

Me and my mommy were in the car singing Have Each Other, I was messing up a lot but kept my spirits high. "Mommy what is all that white line" I asked in my 1 year old voice, "That's lightning AJ, it makes loud-" mom was cut off by the loudest thing I've ever heard, it sounded like a huge bag of chips was being opened in my ears, I also saw a white tint to her light brown hair. I covered my ears as I screamed, "mommy mommy we gonna die!!!" I yelled terrified, "no we ain't honey, that's the sound that lightning makes, it's called crackles" Mom said rubbing my cheek. Mom kept her eyes on the road as we turned onto the highway, we were moving from Tokyo to Musutafu, Japan, I loved moving, I liked reorganizing my room with mommy and daddy.

Suddenly I heard a whistle, like when a firework goes off, I looked out my window to see some people walk onto the highway without any fear, I looked at the people as mom pushed me back in my seat. I saw one shoot a small fire ball at one of the cars and blow it up, the loud noises scared me but I sat there excited, not knowing what was happening. A man with a hand on his face disintegrated a car, then the man in it, I watched as I saw a blonde girl skip up to a woman and stab her in the chest. Mom got scared as more and more people started to scream, that was all I could hear, just screaming... nothing else. Mom used her earth quirk and dug a tunnel for people to get to the other side of the road, once she did everyone sped through it, the man with the hand stopped in front of our car, causing mom to swerve to the left.

All I saw was a glimpse of the man's crimson eyes as other cars rammed into mom's side of the car, causing everything to go black.

I woke up to a cold rag on my head and Deku looked horrified, I jolted up looking around the room, "M-Mommy!!! Where are you" I panicked, I got up and started to run around the house with Deku following close behind. When I didn't find my mommy I started to cry, "Isn't your mom Mitsuki?" Deku asked, I shook my head, "my mommy have brown hair, red eyes" I said snuggling more into his chest. "Oh sweetie what happened!" Mitsuki whisper yelled, "I want mommy!!!" I cried running to her, she patted my head as she tried to calm me, Deku took off somewhere when he saw how upset I was.

"Here I thought this might help" Deku whispered handing me my bunny, I squeezed it and hugged him, "T-Thank y-you" I squeaked, suddenly I saw Katsuki in the door way looking hurt, I grabbed Deku's sleeve and ran behind my aunt. Katsuki looked like he was gonna cry, I covered my ears incase he decided to do anything loud again, he just ran away to his room on the verge of tears. "Hey Flair how old are you?" Deku asked, "I-I'm 3, how are you?" I asked back, "f-four, but how do you have a quirk!?!?" He said asked a little to loud, I cocked my head to the side, "Quirk???" I said looking at Mitsuki, she sighed and picked me up.

"AJ's a early bloomer, he got his quirk a few months ago, he has shadow manipulation, basically he can do anything with his quirk, even imitate other quirks, like Katsuki's" Aunty said answering Deku's questions. "Can he hurt someone with them?" He asked, Mitsuki nodded "he can when he wants to" she answered, "hey aunty, what dos quirkless means?" I asked, she looked shocked at me, I looked at Deku and he looked scared, "it means you have no power sweetie" she said looking at me then Deku. "That's so cool!!!!!" I squealed, "I wanna meet a quirkless person!!!!" I jumped up and down. Deku let out a sigh of relief, "well sweetie you might get your wish, if they want to tell you" she said looking at Deku, "yeah you're actually friends with one Flair" Deku stuttered, and and sighed pointing to himself.

I smiled widely, "yay!" I squeaked and hugged him, he looked shocked and hugged back on the verge of tears." Why are you crying Deku!?" I asked, panicky, "your the first kid to like me for who I am" he started to cry. I hugged him more petting his head, "ok kiddos it's time for bed, Izuku do you want to stay tonight?" Mitsuki asked squatting down to our level, he nodded and she called his mom. "Come on, your in my room!!!" I yelled grabbing and pulling Izuku to my room.

When we entered Deku looked in awe at it, it had mint green walls, Red bed, shelves of toys, soft grey carpet, and a big closet. I ran and jumped on my bed, which was a good foot taller then me. I pushed all my stuffed animals off my bed so Deku could sleep, "You can sleep here, I'll sleep in da floor" I said gitty, " you don't have to do that!" He mumbled, I nodded my head as a yes. I quickly pulled him on my bed and covered him up, "sleep good!" I said as I fixed myself a place to sleep on the floor. "Goodnight Flair" Deku said drowsy, I gave him a thumbs up and passed out.
