Chapter 2

JULIA'S POV

It was Jessica's birthday pretty soon so Lilly and I have gotten her the most wonderful present we could ever think of. We were probably the biggest directioners around, so we bought all three of us passes to one of their meet and greets considering there were no concert tickets available. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't an easy thing to do. We were online the second they came out. The passes sold out in under twelve minutes.

I have been anxiously waiting all day to tell Jessica about it, but Lilly forbade me from doing so. She wanted to be there to see the look on her face. And now the time has come. We sat down at a table in the food court.

"Earlier I said that I had to tell you something. So here it goes... We're going to a One Direction meet and greey!" Lilly screamed at her. I was used to her screaming but the people around us were definitely not considering all of the weird looks that we got.

A look of sadness and confusion on Jessica's face was soon replace by an overjoyed, toothy smile. I wonder what that was about.

~~  Twenty minutes later~~

We were all just walking in the mall, side by side, looking for an outfit to buy to wear to the event. Suddenly I found them. I let out a little shriek, coming to a stop in front of a shoe store. I spotted the most wonderful pair of bright red pumps. Now those we my style. After about ten minutes of debating with my friends if I should get them, I did.

After my wonderful, shoe buying experience, we had to go and buy outfits. We stopped at my two favorite stores, Delia's and forever 21.

LILLY'S POV

We had just walked into forever 21 and I spotted the most glorious red, knee length dress with a black collar type thing. I immediately thought of Julia.

"Julia get your lazy bum over here I found something for you."

I swear as soon as she saw it, her eyes lit up.

"I feel that if I don't get this dress, my world will fall apart and I will die," she said.  We all laughed at her response. Well, one outfit down, two to go.

We headed over to Delia's after Jessica and I bought matching, skin- tight, black pencil skirts with black layers that hugged our figure perfectly. Even If we looked like complete opposites, we had the same choice of clothing and we both hated heels and preferred flats instead. The only exceptions are wedges and that goes for both me and Jessica

After about another three hours of shopping, Jessica and I ended up getting two different shirts but the same, black, lacy flats.

My shirt was short sleeved with pinkish lace and soft, silky material underneath. It looked like the material was flowing, it was comfortable and non- revealing at the same time. Jessica's shirt was a light, long sleeved navy blue and cream striped shirt. It had cream colored lace at the bottom and where the sleeve separated from the base part of the shirt.

Jessica'sPOV

There is one thing that I may have forgot to mention. Harry Styles used to be my best friend. That's why a look of sadness first crossed my face when I found out about the meet and greet. I was thinking of him. Of how he left me. I tried my best to replace that look of sadness and I think it worked. I actually was excited. I love the band more than everything. Just not Harry Styles. I used to live in right next to Harry. But we lost contact after he went to audition for the x-factor even after he swore we wouldn't. That stupid boy broke me.

"Jessica ,I'm going to miss you so much. Just say I don't have to leave and I won't."

As much as I wanted to grab his hand and keep him from leaving, I couldn't do that. After all, I was the one who always told home to chase his dreams.

Right now I was at the airport saying good by to my best friend. Reassuring myself that I would see him soon. Little did I know that he would soon break my heart.

"I'll miss you too Harry. So much. But Ican't do that to you. This is your dream. Just promise me you won't forget. Not about us, not about me, not about anythingthatwe'vebeen through. I don't think I could handle that. Promise me that we will never loose touch. Promise.

"I promise" He said in a soft voice.

"Good bye Harry I love you so much." More than you will ever know.MorethanIwillevertellyou.

I wrapped him up in one last hug before he said, "Close your eyes Jessica,  and count to ten" I did as I was told, andshutmyeyes n

After I counted to ten, I opened my eyes, and he was gone. I don't know how long I stood there, watching the place where he disappeared. As the plane started to take off, I ran over to the large glass window, trying to get as close to him as I could.

I watched as the plane took off, and I raised my hand to the glass.

"Promise" I whispered and let my hand fall to my side. Tears were continuously streaming down my face as I watched the plane take him farther and farther away from me.

Shopping was really fun and now we were at the nail salon but there was still a few questions I had asked that no one answered.

"When is the meet and greet and where is it?" I asked.

"Okay don't kill us"Lilly said. Well That can't be good.

"But it's in two days and in San Fransisco California" Julia finished for her.

"Come again?" I asked. I knew they couldn't be serious, they wouldn't do that to me, right? I mean, we have a shoot in a couple of days for Dior. Do you know how great of an opportunity that is for us? They can't cancel it, right? Wrong.

"Its in two days in San Fransisco California. We have to leave the airport tonight to get there tomorrow." Okay, maybe they would do that to me.

"Your telling me, that the event is in adifferentcountry?" I screamed. Right now we are not in our house in Massachusetts, we are at our house in London for a couple of photo shoots for work.

"Okay first, we didn't tell you because of this reason, you would freak out. Second we knew you wouldn't come if we told you where it was. And third, we may have called Derrick and told him that we were going on a vacation even though we had a photo shoot coming up so he fired us for canceling." Julia gasped out. I swear to god, if she said what I think she just did...

"Wait whatdid you just say about work?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"Um. We may have called Derrick and told him that we were going on a vacation even though we had a photo shoot coming up so he fired us for canceling." Lilly said quietly.

I can't believe it. I can't even believe they did that, even if it was for One Direction. YogabreathingJess, yogabreathing.

"Learn to sleep with your eyes open, both of you." I say. "And just be aware I am thinking of as many ways to give you a slow and painful death." I finish as calmly as I could. I closed my eyes and tried to relax while the person finished painting my nails.
