Jessica's POV
I wake up with my mind set on one thing. Test results. Would they come back postative? Negative? If they do come back positive, I don't know what I would do. I know I won't be able to handle the pain, stress, and money strain that comes with it. Money would definetly be a problem considering the girls got us fired. One thing is for sure though, I will always have the girls to help me out.
"You've got to stop stressing about it Jess, you are going to be fine." Lilly says in a weak voice, almost sounding like she doesn't belive herself.
"You don't know that Lil." I snap back. I need a break. I need to calm down before I start to really panic, and I know that won't be good for my health. The doctor says that nothing is for sure until the tests come back.
"While we wait for the call, do you want to call the boys and see if they want to take a trip to the beach?" Julia steps in before Lilly could say anything. I think this idea through for a moment before responding.
"Sure, that sounds great. I need something to take my mind off it." I say, a bit unsure of myself. It's not that I don't want to see the boys, I just don't want them to ask questions when I get the call back.
"Great, do you want to go to the mall and buy new suits? I can't find the bottom to mine so I need a new one anyway." Julia asks.
"Sure. That sounds fine. I saw one there the other day that I was going to buy, but didn't." Lilly responds, leaving me no choice but to go shopping with them.
------------
"Oh Julia come over here, I found a great one for you." Lilly shouts sarcastically from across the bathing suit isle.
"What is it?" She asks, walking over from the area she was looking at.
"How 'bout this one?" Lilly asks jokingly, throwing the ugliest bathing suit imaginable over to Julia. It was a one piece and the chest part of it was black, neon green, and purple polka dots. The bottom was the same colors as the top, only striped. (A/N I actually looked up ugly bathing suits, this is a real one.)
As soon as Julia saw what it looked like, she squealed and tossed it aside. It landed on me. It covered my face and I let out a small squeak, shoving it again in Lilly's direction. And so it went, us throwing the bathing suit around and around until one of the worker told us to knock it off and get out. Apparently we were distracting the customers. How rude.
--------
We ended up each buying a new bathing suit and a sun dress to wear over it, seeing as how the boys wanted to take us out to dinner after we go to the beach.
When we got to our car, I turned on the radio and imedietly started singing.
"Singing Radiohead at the top of our lungs
With the boom box blaring as we're falling in love
Got a bottle of whatever, but it's getting us drunk
Singing here's to never growing up" I start.
Julia reaches over from the passenger seat and turns it up even louder. Its such a good thing that we have the same taste in music.
I pause from singing and turn to face my friend. "Come on Lilly!" I shout over the loud music. "Sing with us."
"Say, won't you stay forever stay
If you stay forever hey
We can stay forever young." Julia and I continue. Since we hit a red light, we both turn to Lilly once again.
