That was how Lilly found me an hour later; on my knees, crying my eyes out.

"Jess? Is that you?" she asked. "Oh thank God it is you. Everybody is worried sick!" She noticed my shoulders racked with sobs and bent down to my level, rubbing circles on my back.

"Hey what's wrong?" She asked. I looked up at her. My hair was a mess, my cheeks were tear stained, and my eyes were puffy with mascara running all down them, but did I care? No, not at all.

"It's back Lilly. Its fucking back." I scream. As soon as the words came out of my mouth, another round of sobs escaped my body.

I turned to look at Lilly. Her face was starch white. It's amazing that she could tell what was wrong just by the look on my face. If you can't call her a true friend, I don't know who is.

"Oh no Jess." she breathed out in a shaky voice. "Oh god no, I'm so sorry."

"Get Jules." I say, surprised by the edge in my voice.

"Are you sure? Do you want me to get the boys too?" she asks.

"No Lilly, just get Jules. Don't tell the boys, I have to tell them myself." She stood up and ran off to look for our blonde best friend.

Lilly's POV

Where the hell is she? The boys finished burying me almost an hour ago! Surely Jessica hasn't been in the bathroom for that long.

"I'm gonna go look for Jessica." I announce to the group.

I walk up and down the beach a countless number of times. I've tried calling and texting her, but she just won't answer. After a while of looking, I decide to take a quick bathroom break. What I see near the bathrooms defiantly surprised me. I rush over to the figure hunched in the sand.

"Jess? Is that you?" I knew the answer before the words left my mouth. . "Oh thank god it is you." I say. "Everybody is worried sick!" I noticed her shoulders rack with sobs and I bend down to her level, rubbing circles on her back.

"Hey what's wrong?" I asked. She looked up at me. Her hair was a mess, cheeks were tear stained, and her beautiful eyes were puffy with mascara running all down them, it didn't look like she cared.

"It's back Lilly. Its fucking back." She screamed.

She turned to look at me. I felt the blood drain out of my face.

"Oh no Jess." I manage to have breathed out. "Oh god no, I'm so sorry."

"Get Jules." She says.

"Are you sure? Do you want me to get the boys too?" I asked with a frown. I couldn't cry for her. Not yet. It isn't fair that she had to go through it once, and now she has to go through it again.

"No Lilly, just get Jules. Don't tell the boys. I have to tell them myself." Before I could respond, I stood up and ran off in search of our friends.

I ran as fast and as hard as I could until I reached the place in the sand where we were set up. As soon as Julia saw me, she stood up.

"Where is she? Where's Jess?" She belted out.

I gave her a shy look.

"You have to come with me. She wants to see you." I said to her. Apparently the boys took that the wrong way, thinking I also needed them to come with me.
