"Hello" I said as I answered my phone that rang for the 3rd time
"Heyy G" I heard the voice I was too familiar with
I smacked my lips "what you want dymond?"
"Nothing. I'm just checking up on you, how you been ?"
"I been good, chilling...you can't keep calling me back to back I had a client" I shook my head
"I'm sorry, it's just been a while & I miss you" she sighed
"I've been busy...how you been ?"
"I've been good"
"That's good."
"You should come over later" she suggested
"Uhh I don't know about that"
"Whyyy Geo.."
"Because we not together anymore D" I sighed getting tired of explaining this to her
Dymond was my ex girlfriend of 2 years. We broke up because she was toxic as hell and I don't wanna put everything on her because I'm a little toxic myself it's just she was a different level toxic.
We've been broken up for a year going on two now but still communicate just because of her mental health.
We do get a little touchy here and there but it doesn't go any further than head.
"Okay but I miss you."
"Alright D I gotta another client in like 5 minutes"
"But Geo- bye" I said cutting her off before she can finish
I hung up the phone and blew out a long breathe while shaking my head.

It was now 5pm and I was currently pulling up to Lani's crib.
I parked next to her car before getting out the car and grabbed the stuff I brought before walking towards the elevators.
