The place where Momo and her family went is China at one point her and the rest were trying to see which took years which Izuku didn't mind at all due to working out and getting along with the prisoners to prove that he's innocent and Momo realized that Katsuki hates him and so she found a way to have him confess if she tricks him into thinking that she's on his side.
