Dear Diary,
I was sixteen years old when life as I knew it, turned a one-eighty.
I was sixteen years old when I met him.
With his curly brown hair, his harsh, cold eyes, people thought he was bad news, but I knew he wasn't that – at least he wasn't just that. He was indescribable. All the words in all languages of the world couldn't possibly describe all that he was. So I chose that one word that made sense to me when someone asked me to describe him – indescribable.
Wherever he went, he brought with him an air of trouble and something so mysterious that I couldn't help be curious.
He taught me to love, to live and to laugh. He taught me who my friends were, and most importantly who weren't. He made me see the world through a new pair of eyes – his.
His broken heart was mine to love. And I loved it with all of mine.
He made me love myself. And I loved that about him. Until I couldn't love him at all.
One mistake, one secret, one lie cost us everything. And the most painful part of it all was, he didn't seem to regret it at all.
I'm Adeline Kingsley and this is my story.
