Chapter Twenty Two

.:Damion's Room:.

Damions groaned softly as he rolled off of me. I laid back and sighed out. Damion smirked at me. His hair was falling down his face. He looked so handsome. I felt my body tingle as he ran his hands across my nude flesh. Damion was such a passionate lover. He was secure and soft.

"So, how did you like your punishment?" Damion sneered.

I blushed. "W-well, you can't really consider that a punishment."

Damion chuckled as he pulled me close to him. He nuzzled his nose into my hair and enhaled. I felt shivers run up and down my spine. It felt so right to be in his arms like this.

It felt like no one else existed, just the two of us. I shut my eyes, trying to block out all other sounds. I listened as our hearts beated as one. My world felt nearly complete.

Damion chuckled.

"What?" I asked, nervously.

"Nothing." He chuckled again.

"Tell me, Damy."

"You just sound like a corny love poem, is all." He mumbled.

I felt my face heat up again. I was so in the moment, I accidently let my shield down.

"Dammit, stop peeking into my head!!!" I snapped.

"Sorry, sorry. I couldn't help it."

I rolled my eyes as I pulled away from him. He always knew how to kill a good moment. Damion groaned as I got up. I grabbed my clothes and quickly put them on. I'll have to shower later. Damion looked at me longingly.

I rolled my eyes again and walked to the door. If I stayed here, we'd probably end up doing it again and I still need my energy. For some strange reason, Emma has been going on longer with her lessons.

Keegan says it's nothing to worry about, but I think it's kinda weird. Not to mention, I keep getting these really bad vibes. Something very bad is going to happen soon. I'm not 100% sure what it is, but I know that everyone is secretly preparing for it.

Neo has even started to come to training.

"Kry!" Jessica's voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Lucifer's looking for you." She said.

"Okay, I'm on my way. Thanks." I said, walking towards his study.

I sighed as i walked into his private hall. When I first moved in, I used to dread walking into the part of the castle. But now it seems so familiar. Like i could walk through this place with my eyes closed. I heard Lucifer chuckle and smirked.

Of course, he would be listening for me.

I rolled my eyes as I walked into his study. He was sitting behind his desk surrounded by thousands of paperwork. I sighed as I looked at him.

'Luci, you seriously need to think about hiring a secretary. You're going to go mad with all this work." I said, sitting in the seat in front of his desk.

"Ha, you're so not funny. Anyways, cut the small talk. I have something important to discuss with you." Lucifer said, looking at me, gravely.

I felt my throat well up in my chest.
