.:Satan's Garden:.

I took a deep breath as I walked through the gardens. It's kind of funny, though. Who would have guessed the All Powerful devil would have a hobby such as gardening.

I chuckled silently. It was 7 in the morning and here I was walking around in a daze. I had snuck out of Damion's room once he had fallen to sleep.

The sun would be out soon. That meant the whole castle would go to sleep. Seth had tried to talk me into leaving once everyone was asleep. He really hated that we were here, but what he hated the most was..we were here of our free will.

I heard a twig crack and growled. I spun around flinging a kunai at my intruder. I heard a sharp thump and a whimper. My expression softened as I realized who it was.

It was Charlotte. I shook my head and walked over to him. The kunai had grazed his cheek. Charlotte rose his arms and I smiled. I picked him up and hugged him to me.

"Miksi olemme taalla?" Charlotte asked in his sweet little voice.

"I can't just leave them, Charlie. I wish it were that easy, but its not and I can't." I mumbled.

Charlotte looked deep into my eyes. "Voit silti rakastaa hanta."

"I'm not sure. Maybe. But it's complicated."

Charlotte shook his head and wiggled to get down. I shook my head at him. I put him down. He looked at me, with hurt, angry eyes. I kissed Charlotte on his head. He was too much like his father. Always jumping the gun. Charlotte grabbed my hand as we walked back to the castle.

I could tell he hated it there. He could see and sense all the things he had wanted to stay away from. I heard a low roar and stopped walking. Charlotte ran into me. I felt like me feet were frozen to the ground. This has to be a joke. There was no way in hell she was here. She couldn't be unless...

I growled menacingly as I stormed off to Lucifer's study. How could he? Was he seriously just trying to piss me off? Charlotte yelled for me to stop. I growled as I spun to face him. His face went pale as he saw my expression.

"Charlie, go find Seth and stay with him."

"W-why?" He stuttered.

"Now, Charlotte!" I snapped.

Charlotte trembled as he stumbled over his feet to find Seth. I felt my aura become dark and suffocating. I stormed off to Lucifer's office. He chuckled as I threw the door open.

My glare was deadly as my eyes trailed from Lucifer to his wife who sat on his desk to the bitch of an assistant that stood beside her. Maylean.

"Ah, Kry. Darling, how are you? It's been so long!"

I ignored her as I walked towards Maylean. She shivered slightly as I began to sniff the air around her. She smelt like blood. Human blood. But it wasn't Elizabeth's or Troy's. I eyed her suspiciously. Why was the scent of this blood so familiar to me?

I grabbed Maylean by her arm and pulled her with me. I turned back and glared at Lucifer.

"If this is who I think it is, we are going to have a serious problem." I growled.

"Oh it is. He couldn't keep his end of the deal." Lucifer chuckled.

"So you killed his favorite pet? Are you asking for a war?" I growled, squeezing Maylean's wrist. She hissed in pain.

"It won't be that big of a deal."

I growled as I stormed out of the room with Maylean at my side. As much as I hated the bitch, I wasn't going to let her die. My heart hadn't completely hardened. We walked in silence as I thought about Charlotte and Seth.

We would have to leave soon. Lucifer angered a man whose powers were almost as great as his own. I didn't want to be here when all hell broke loose.

I growled as i entered Damion's room. I threw Maylean roughly on his bed. "Stay here. He'll keep you safe."

"Why are you helping?"

"Because you're too loyal and stupid to say no. Now stay." I growled slamming the door shut behind me.

I sighed as went to find my team. We had to plan an escape and fast.
