War Part 2

The moment the Lanterns arrived at the base, thousands of green lights shone like stars in the empty sector, waiting for their enemy to arrive. In front of them, the most powerful members of the Corps adjusted their rings with confident, more analytical features on their faces.

They were already accustomed to the dangers of work and knew that they could die in the service. Today everything will be different, today they will make every effort so that the younger ones do not die in this war, because they are the future of the Corps.

And in the distance, in the darkness that hid the stars, a horde of black dragons could be seen, with a giant black dragon at the head, and Knull astride it, who looked at the Lanterns with a murderous and insane smile on his face.

"Come, children of the light!!! Show me how you can amuse me!!!"

He screamed. His voice invaded the vacuum of space and was heard by all members of the Corps. With a confident look, they aimed their rings at the horde, and with the movement of the most powerful members of the Lanterns, hundreds of beams of green energy with star-destroying potential were released, destroying two-quarters of the horde and scattering the rest of the beasts.

And that was the start of the fight. The generals ordered the juniors to stay careful and attack groups of five lesser dragons, while the more experienced attacked the larger ones while the generals dealt with Knull.

And that was not all, soon the 666 system fell into chaos. The solar systems were destroyed by the battle, and several worlds ceased to exist altogether. Five fireballs fell on a desert planet, it was a squad of recruits who fought the dragon, but soon three more monsters joined forces, forcing them to change strategy.

"Let's take them to the pole of the planet, where the cold can slow down their movements and they can open a gap for quick attacks!!!"

Seeing no other way out, they did so. And a continuous battle began in the direction of the pole of the planet, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Two of the dragons had their head and center of the body destroyed, but one of the recruits had its torso eaten away. He died while maneuvering to save one of his comrades.

They soon reached the pole and began to notice that the cold of this place had little effect on the dragons, but it was enough to slow their movements, and, using this, they managed to destroy two more dragons at the cost of losing another of their companions.

Leaving only one dragon for the two remaining recruits, who were already breathless from the incessant battle, but did not give up and used a wide variety of designs, from melee weapons to energy weapons, and missiles against the beast, which finally fell, biting the leg of the Centurian recruit whom he saved Cree recruit.

In space, there was blood on Knull's hands, piercing the Osmosian General's body, the sword absorbing his essence, but it cost the general his life.

But what surprised Knull was Flora, whose plant constructs had no difficulty immobilizing some of his strongest warriors, and this caught his attention. Throwing aside the pieces of his sword, he went to meet with the elder Lantern. The battle had already gone on for six days. Ground forces on both sides suffered casualties.

Flora is tired.

"You child of light, go and have fun, your friends can't do that anymore haha!!!"

He laughed merrily as he attacked with his weapon. But several green vines held onto his limbs, thorns piercing his flesh, causing him discomfort. But the cuts didn't stop him. To his surprise, the attack he delivered to Flora did not kill her. Due to her features, she simply bifurcated, which helped her avoid getting into the body.

And then a scythe formed on her ring, and she attacked Knull, who was defending himself. A melee duel ensued with her early advantage, but soon Knull, being stronger and more experimental, destroyed the construct, ripping off her left arm and about to stab her where her heart might have been.

But then an unpleasant blue glow appeared (for him), and then a green glow. At the same time, the green form of the Lanterns greatly increased in strength, and the green trail pierced Knull at breakneck speed for everyone present, dragging him through the void, crashing into two planets and one sun, destroying them, thereby saving Flora.

Finally coming to a stop on the icy planet, Knull angrily looked up and saw a tall figure with a blue-green emblem on his chest and glowing red eyes staring at him.

"Stop killing, your end has come."

Azmuth said to the god of the void with rage. He usually try to be peaceful and not interfere, and he passed that philosophy on to my Lanterns in a more watered down way, but what that bastard did took me out of a serious state.

"Finally a worthy opponent! Let's see if you can do what even the Celestials couldn't!"

And now we are both preparing for an exchange of blows of the cosmic level, but, unfortunately for him, I am his complete opposite, where he is death, I am life, where he is destruction, I am creation, where he is darkness, I am light !!!
