The Golden Guardian

Prologue

Judging someone without knowing their actual strength can cause a lot of physical damage.

One such example can be seen in the practice grounds of Ceredoia.

*cling*and with that she had the sword of the chief on the ground with her pointing the sword at him.
"Still am I not worthy of leading my army in the war, chief. " The girl mocked the chief and raised an eyebrow.

"Princess Avyanna!!?! " Called out a high pitched voice and to be true the voice Avyanna hates the most. The princess who was still pointing the sword at the chief's neck shuts her eyes in annoyance inhales and turns around
"Yes, your highness"

"You are called by your highness please meet him in his room." Princess nodded at the queen proceeded to the king's room.

"You asked for me,your highness?"

"Yes dear,I did,to talk to you.I saw you defeating the chief,you did great.I am so proud of you.I know you are capable of leading the army but me and you mother are worried for you. Try to understand,please don't go for this. The chief can handle it you don't have to.I know you hate when I say this but you need to understand this is not for you, you're very precious to be sent to war.Your mother is right it's not just our practice ground it's gonna be battle ground. "

The princess did nothing but sigh she didn't like even a word that was said by king but stayed quiet. She knows arguing isn't worth it, she has done it before and has got nothing but hurt,also the word 'mother' from his mouth was enough to upset her to a point to not argue anymore

"Who am I to oppose you, your highness" She uttered quietly.

"Don't say that please.I know you are thrilled by the idea of war, but it's dangerous sweetheart .It's not for you."

"I won't go if you don't want me to."
"Thank you, dear"

She left after bidding goodbye to her father. She saw the queen looking at her with a cunning smile.She left to her room frustrated. This is what happens everytime even after proving herself,no one cares, not even her father, a few words of fake concern from that vicious lady is all what it takes to weaken the trust her father has on her and she hates that her father does anything because of some sugarcoated words of the queen. He even called her, her mother,when she is not. Neither did she gave birth to her nor did she took care of her or made a single effort to get that title.

The princess ended up on the window of her room thinking all this.
