(n.) A place where one feels safe, a place where one's strength of character is drawn.
They both tiptoed to the cave and released the breath they were holding. They looked at each other and then they started looking around it was warmer than the outside, they both examined the whole cave to check if there's some danger and to their good luck there was none."It's safe here m'lady, I guess we can stay the night here. " Kian said wiping the sweat on his face from all the running. "Yeah, guess so,cheater." Avyanna said while Kian was looking around, he felt at ease in the nature,as always. "I'll just go look around to confirm there's no danger. " Kian said turning to leave , they still didn't trust the place to be safe. "I'll also be around, don't go much far from the cave and meet me here. Make sure you don't get lost. "Said Avyanna, she didn't want him to leave her here. A small smile appeared on Kian's face as he nodded.
Avyanna was wandering about for some time. Nearly about half an hour later she was returning to the cave when she noticed a tree at just a little distance from the cave. She sat there staring at the moon which looked so, luminous and shimmering.
Avyanna looked around the tree and plucked a few smal branches looked at them carefully and the casted a magic as she turned them to a pan flute
She loved playing it, it was one of her favorite activities to do. Whenever she felt even a little bit if stresses she would play this and forget everything. She looked around to see if Kian was there, when she was sure he wasn't, she kept it near her mouth and put her fingers on the holes as the melodious sound filled the environment.
Kian was coming back to the cave when he heard a really pleasing sound as he went there, he saw Avyanna playing her pan flute, a smile made it's way on his lips as he stared at her, her lips and fingers moving professionaly on the instrument, the moonlight lightening all her features. She looked ethereal.
He was surprised as those delicate hands which ever so delicately on the flute can fight and handle a sword ever so fiercely.
He tiptoed there, sat beside her not letting her notice him taking in all her features listening to the music intently, with a bright smile plastered on his face.
