Thalassophile
(n.) The lover of the sea , someone who loves the sea, oceanShe was standing at the sea shore away from all royal mess she has been dealing with, away form the toxicity, away from the pressure of not bursting out all emotions she feels . Instead she is at a place that calms her down,at the shore of Tassina river which is between Ceredoia and Vadronia,. Ruminating thoughts about her life in her mind.
Suddenly,She gripped the sword tightly in her hands, turned around and had her sword pointed to a man whom she presumed was the presence she felt a moment before.
"Woah, easy there!" Exclaimed the man who was none other than Kian. Well, Avyana didn't know it, yet.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?" She said still not lowering her sword.
"Well.. firstly.. " He drew his sword and attacked her attempting to get her sword out of her hands but she was strong enough to not let go of the sword but it got lowered. He raised an eyebrow in both appreciation and amusement at Avyanna's skills.
"Impressive" He said. This time she attacked and this went on for a few minutes. Kian was actually impressed by the princess's sword fighting skills but he didn't want to continue the fight anymore and make it more intense, he wanted to talk to her he didn't know why. So to do it he focused on the princess's sword and after a few moments because of magic he casted the sword flew off from princess's hands.
"That's against the rules!" Avyanna exclaimed shocked at what just happened to which he chuckled.
"It is,so what,m'lady? " Kian said."what do you mean so what? It is a rule for you and every other warrior to follow"
"I don't follow rules unless they are beneficial, circumstances change so does the need of rules but for your contentment I'll consider you the winner. " He said. "I don't need your consideration, you cheater. "
"Ok so, who are you, m'lady."he asked
"That's none of your business."she spat annoyed.
"I don't mind that I can call you m'lady, for now. Right?"
"Whatever,it's not like you are going to get a chance to call me anything again, cheater. "
"Maybe....By the way why are you here, you know I saw you and got worried it's not safe here. This sea does not come under any kingdom as it is considered holy,so no protection is offered to this land from either kingdoms. " He explained.
"I just came here to calm myself and I am capable to protect myself. "She claimed"Well, I agree on that" He said.
"Why are you here, cheater? " She asked curiously.
They could leave right now..away from each other but for some reason they didn't want to. They got a chance to talk to someone and they didn't want to miss it.
"I didn't expect a question from you m'lady, anyway, I am here for the same reason as yours, surprisingly."He said smiling mischievously.
" What's your name? "
"You didn't tell me your name why would I tell you mine?" He argued, he would prefer not to tell her his name and risk her knowing his identity, not because it would harm him but because she would treat him as a prince not Kian, well, for her cheater
"Whatever, I'll also call you cheater only, until you stop calling me that. " Said Avyanna.
"I am afraid that won't happen m'lady"And with that the silence fell no one said anything they sat there beside each other admiring the sea.
