Saudade
(n.) A nostalgic feeling to be near to someone or something again that is now distant, or that has been loved and then lost.

She looked at him with wide eyes and a perplexed look, clearly not understanding how was he present there. Meanwhile, he wiggled his eyebrows slyly smiling at Avyanna's confused face. "Good evening m'lady" Kian said bowing dramatically with a teasing expression on his face "I didn't think I would see you in a ball ever but that's not the only thing I am thinking about. Are you here as a warri-" His speech was cut off by Avyanna wincing at the thought of people knowing she fights as she pressed her index finger on her lips signaling him to stop."Shh. Keep quite you don't have to publicly announce it and why are you here?"She questioned back. " I asked you first."Replied Kian earning a done face from Avyanna. Why was he always so cocky? As she was about to reply she was cut off "Avyanna what are you doing here" The queen said and then looked at him and her expression changed "You shouldn't be with him let's go"she whisper-yelled at Avyanna and dragged her away leaving Avyanna and Kian both confused.

"Why can't I be with him?" Avyanna questioned to which queen replied
"Because he is Kian Remington, the crown prince of Vadronia, and that kingdom is our worst enemy kingdom."She said with a bored tone

She was expectedly always very uninterested in talking to her and way too much interested in
talking about her. Such a slight difference of words ... But Such great difference of actions.

Kingdoms in present time are not as enthusiastic to make either enemies or friends because it's all now based on gain and loss rather than promises and loyalty as it used to be in old times.

But in this era too, Ceredoia and Vadronia two strongest of all the kingdoms are enemies, when they used to be great allies in the past, the most important reason for the present king of Ceredoia's hatred for Vadronia was the queen. Her habit of comparing practically everything about Ceredoia to every other kingdom and  her need to prove that she is the best has caused Ceredoia to have alot of enemies and deepend the existing enmity.Just some lies by her and the king would end any great alliance with any kingdom based on just her jealousy sugarcoated with words. The king who would thinks so much about his subjects, they were his first priority and it changed, just for a lady?

It's true that Love is root of all happiness and blind love is root of many tragedies.

Pulling Avyanna out of her chain of thoughts a familiar voice said "Are you sad that I wasn't here.Don't worry I am here, m'lady"

She looked at him, what's with him creeping up everywhere "See, I guess you know me now,our kingdoms are rivals so are we, so we should stay away from each other. " She said in a stern tone. Whatever the reason they were enemies and she must be cautious but...

But somewhere she wasn't as happy as she should be with this. She just explained herself that she just liked the fact he treated her as Avyanna and not a princess that's why she wasn't as happy, but, was it all?

It takes two to make a quarrel, of course, the king of Vadronia had played a role in this enmity just to satisfy his ego he let this enmity happen without any hesitation.
"I don't mind that.you're m'lady and I don't care about the rivalry. This rivalry ultimately is harm to both
the kingdoms .I was always against this rivalry I mean,if we think about it both the kingdoms are strong with their own positives and negatives and if there is a friendship established between the both kingdoms the subjects of both kingdoms will have much more resources and both don't hold any history of rivalry as well,to have a grudge against each other . This rivalry is purely just for the ego satisfaction of the royals"he was explaining further about how this rivalry was not worth it and how much beneficial it would be for the subjects of their land if these two kingdoms established friendship.
Meanwhile Avyanna was looking at him with a look of admiration as she could see how much he was concerned about his subjects and how his policies were selfless and egoless. It was rare to see a king like that
