Why is the plot changing!?

Chapter 05

Author's note: Demn.... I just found out that a normal Wattpad chapter has like 2000 words and mine has around 600 words. So Imma try to lengthen the chapters.

Aishhh If Alexander refuses to annul the engagement it's going to be a hassle. I have to get away from him somehow... . Wait a minute why am I scared of him!?. Hah! there is no way I am gonna be scared of that bastard. That's right! Emma has a lot of support from the nobles. I don't need his consent for an annulment. Today has been a bizarre day, my brain can't handle it anymore I am just gonna go to sleep. .........Ahh there is bright light.. didn't Darlene close the door?.

" Y/N"

"eh? that's my name before isekaied here.. I must be dreaming"

" Y/N come here"

" Although this is a dream it is very creepy"

I see a bluish translucent figure of a woman..... wait.. thats me! ( Emma)

" W-who are you"

The woman smiled and said " I am the original Emma"

I got shivers " So.. are you like gonna haunt me cause I took over your body?". What a pity... but atleast I was able to meet my idol in real life kyaaaa.

O/C Emma chuckled and said " No I just want to explain some things to you real quick. It must be confusing waking up in a new world. I am going to make it quick because I don't have much time and neither do you"

"What do you mean by you don't have much time?"

" Our souls currently don't have any body. Our souls will be lost forever if we don't get back to our bodies in time"

" Ok " I didn't understand a thing she just said.

O/C Emma took a deep breath and said " Y/N the world you are currently residing in is not a fictional world. It is real indeed. You and I.. we are the same person. I am your past.  When  we put a seal on the demon lord the king of elves granted us a wish. When Alexander left us on the verge of dying I well WE made a wish. A wish to get a second chance. However every wish has a price to pay. So your soul was sent into another world and given a hellish life for 26 years, the age at which we died in this world with your memories erased. Now that you have completed the time period your soul is sent back to the world you belong in. "

" Then what about the novel? how did the novel I read contain the past contents of this world?" I said barely able to process anything.

" It was my attempt to prepare you for this world. If you knew the contents of the book you would not make the same mistakes I did" she said with a bittersweet smile.

" How can we be the same person if we are two separate souls ?"

" I am but a small fragment of your soul. That is part of the price I paid for that wish"

" So, what about you? what will happen to you?" 

"She smiled and said " I am afraid I cannot reveal that but do not worry I am in a better place

She started fading away...

" Wait a minute!. please don't go yet..." I shouted as I tried to hold onto her hand

She held my face with both her hands and caressed my cheek with her thumb. It was then I noticed the surroundings. We were standing on a calm pond grayish clouds were hovering up as if a storm was about to come. A cool and calm breeze was blowing around us. It felt as if no one else existed except me and her. There was silence, but it was comfortable. Her hand gave off a warm sensation. How I wish I could stay like this forever. She touched her forehead against mine and said " Don't feel bad it was not your fault. You are given a second chance so live your life to the fullest. I will be at peace so you don't need to worry about me. This is the last time we will see each other."

She removed her forehead from mine and took a pause and said " I guess this is goodbye " and kissed my forehead before completely fading away.

Aggh I jolted out of my bed. I touched my forehead and paused for a second. My..my memories have come back. I clenched my hand against my chest and started crying as my memories came flooding back. I really am the real Emma?. The book was real?. I remembred my life before dying in this world. My friends.. my family.. I remember them all.

No wonder swordsmanship and knowledge came easily to me. When I came in this world I usually needed a trigger to remember a memory related to the incident. Now I remember everything.

My heart is beating fast uncontrollably. Ok let's calm down. I poured myself water and took a sip. I walked into the balcony and stared outside. It was still night so it was very quiet. There was a cool breeze and the sound of the tree leaves was soothing. There were many stars in the sky.

Suddenly I looked around. I am feeling someone's presence. I leaned toward the railing and suddenly a man held on the railing and pulled himself up. As he landed I grabbed the vase near the table and broke it and pointed towards his neck. he was wearing a hood so I couldn't see his face clearly.

" Woah! easy there it's me" the man said while pulling his hood now.

I gasped " Harris!? ".

Demn.. it ain't easy to write  a 2000 word essay T T. Imma just leave it at this. It's around a 1000 word's. I mean... progress right?.
