I kept running my hands all over his chest, and as much as I liked it, I could tell it was very painful. I felt horrible about the whole Cameron thing to begin with. Are we finally away from whatever is going on with him?
I roll over and try to go to sleep, I lay there forever for what seems like hours thinking over everything. Thinking about Cameron just seemed to upset me more so I let it go for now. I'll deal with it in the morning.
I woke up to the sun hitting me in the eyes through my bedroom window. Ross was still beside me, sound asleep. Coincidentally, my phone buzzed. I grabbed it and read the notification. "New message: Cameron" Oh no, not Cameron. But I couldn't resist opening it, I had to see what he wanted. It was just a simple "hello." Weird. I just responded hey and rolled back over. My phone buzzed again. Do you wanna do something tonight? said the message, and I thought about it. Seeing him once couldn't be so bad, right? I would just hang out for a little and then tell him to leave me and Ross alone, simple. I responded back nothing, what do you have in mind? Cameron texted back, you could come over to my place for a little bit, just to talk. Hm, just talking. Seems innocent. From all my tapping and buzzing of my phone, Ross rolled over out of his sleep.
"Morning." He groaned.
"Good morning. I'm gonna hang with a friend later today, you can chill here until I get back since we are still on 'vacation' or you could do something too." I told him. Why didn't I mention Cameron's name to Ross, you might ask? I'm not really sure, but I thought it would be better if I didn't tell him.
"Oh." He seemed taken aback. "I'll just wait here till you get back then. I'm not sure if I wanna do anything yet, I kinda just wanna relax here for one more night."
I smiled, "Fine with me. As long as you don't mind Vanessa being here too."
He laughed, "No, I don't mind Vanessa."
I got up and decided to get ready for the day. I took a shower and listened to some music. I came back in a towel and my room was empty. I heard Ross faintly downstairs. I shrugged and grabbed some clothes to change into and went back into my bathroom to change. I went downstairs to go sit on the couch when Ross came back out with cereal. I laughed to myself as I turned the TV on.
"Are you feeling any better?" I asked Ross, referring to his bruises.
He looked up from his bowl.
"Oh, yeah I little. They still hurt a lot but hey, that's what happens when these huge guys show up out of nowhere on the city streets." He nervously chuckled. I tried to giggle too, but it just seemed forced.
