Chapter 1 - Laura

I was packing to go to Florida with my friend Ross, when he texted me.

"Hey im almost packed, whens our flight leaving?"

"Me too, and tonight around 11."

"ughh, that's way too late ."

"Oh quit complaining, its only in a couple hours. come over to my house, we'll grab dinner then head to the airport."

"Okay see ya in about an hour"

I was freaking out because I feel like I didn't pack enough, but probably over packed anyway. After panicking for like an hour, I heard a voice downstairs.

"Laura? It's Ross."

"Hey im upstairs come on up."

Ross walked up the steps and into my room. I smiled and lifted up my suitcase.

"I think I have everything hah "

"Yeah seems like it, come on I'm starving. "

We shortly went to get some Chinese food and head to the airport. while I was driving, I kept noticing Ross smiling and smirking at his phone when he was texting. Wonder what that is about. I brushed it off and watched as we pulled into the parking lot, reminding myself our plane was going to leave in 15 minutes. We followed a crowd of people onto their plane and got seats next to each other near the middle. Ross was so tired he fell asleep almost immediately. I looked over at him. He's so cute when he's sleeping.
Wait... what am I saying?!

I shocked myself for thinking that way about Ross. He's only my friend, right? But, yet that explains why his texting bothered me a little. I HAD to look. Ross's phone was sitting on his lap. I reached towards him and gently pulled it from his hands laying on his lap.
