Chapter 3 - Ross

I woke up in the morning and turned over to see Laura sleeping there too.
Oh my god, no. This did NOT happen. Friends don't sleep together at night.
I slowly crept out of bed, but didn't want to wake Laura. I decided to get a shower instead and wait for her to wake up.
When I got out of the shower, she was gone. I took a key card and walked across the hall to Laura's room. I knocked on the door.

Laura poked her head out, "Hey Ross." she smiled.

I smiled back, "Hey uh, good morning." I nervously scratched the back of my neck. Maybe I shouldn't bring up last night.
"Good morning . Wanna go get some breakfast downstairs? "

I smiled, because my stomach was growling, "Yess! "

We walked downstairs and there was all this food for the hotel guests to eat. We got some food and sat at a table.
Soon a guy, not much older than me, walked up to them.
"Hey beautiful, what are you doing around here? " He was looking at Laura flirtingly.
"We were just eating before doing something, right Laur? " I interrupted. I gave Laura a look, hoping she'd get the message.

"Yeah yeah, so, how about you and I go take a walk, Laur? " He said, mocking my tone. "My name's Cameron." He smiled and took Laura's arm.

She gave me a look like What are you gonna do? and took his arm. I rolled my eyes. "Yeah sure. Ill meet back up with you Ross. "
Cameron looked back, glaring at me, "yeah, Ross."

I sighed and took my trash to the trashcan. I walked up to the front desk and got the attention of one of the ladies.
"Hello sweetie how can I help you? " Said a middle aged woman with red lips and a southern accent.
I smiled and asked, "Uh yeah, where can I go when I need to get away from everything? "
She frowned at him, "Sorry dear, its still the early morning. how about I give you a pamphlet about what's fun in this town? " she offered. I grabbed the pamphlet and thanked her. I walked back up to the hotel room, and walked outside onto the balcony, looking out on the beach.

Ross decided to play guitar because it took his mind off stuff. He was a little mad for Laura being that way towards him. He started strumming a few notes, and pulled out a piece of paper with stuff scrawled on it. He began to play.
