I sat down at a table in the ice cream shop with Vanessa . She hugged me and I squeezed back tightly. it was so good to have another girl to talk to.
"So, how are you and Ross?" Vanessa blurted out.
I gasped. "Uhm, excuse me?" I laughed.
"Oh come on. He so likes you."
My face burned. "Do you like him as well?" She asked again.
I put a spoonful of ice cream in my mouth and smiled. I shrugged at her.
"OH MY GOD, YOU DO." She practically screamed. People turned at us. "Sorry." she said and turned back to me. "Spill it!" She nudged me.
"I guess I like him, but he got pretty turned off when I went on a date with another guy when we went on vacation."
Her jaw dropped. "Ohmigod, Laura. You can't do that!" She playfully hit me, "You need to do something, or I will!"
"Nononono you cannot say anything about what we're talking about." I laughed.
"Okay, just tell me one thing. Have you two kissed yet? What's the cutest thing about him? How far have you two gotten?" She beamed.
"Erm, no. But I-"
"Laura he needs to kiss you. I better hear juicy details tomorrow!" She squealed. I laughed even harder.
"Ahhh, okay. So maybe i think about it sometimes, but it's not like we'd do anything and-"
"Laura! " she playfully slapped me. "Come on, youre old enough, go a little crazy with boys !" Vanessa winked at me.
I was so happy and laughing my face was hot. I grinned goofily at my sister. "Well, maybe." I winked back.
"You two should definitely do something couplely tonight !"
"Couplely?"
"Like a couple, obviously." She jokingly rolled her eyes.
"Okay, okay. I'll send you pictures tonight." I grinned.
"Actually, ew-"
"No, not like that! Like snap chatting Vanessa!" I giggled. She laughed back. We finished our ice cream and headed back to her car.
When when we got in the car, Vanessa couldn't stop blabbing about Ross .
"I was smiling goofily the whole time, and I don't even know why. " I tried explaining to Vanessa about whenever I was laying in bed with Ross watching movies or whatever. "I really dont think he noticed, but oh well."
"Hey! Dont be like that!"
"I guess youre right," I smiled. "I cant wait to get home now!" i squealed.
"You guys need to get intimate, I mean come on! "
"Stoooopppp. " I playfully yelled, covering my ears. I didn't want to think if Ross in that way, did I?
We soon got to my house, and I turned to my sister.
"You say nothing! " I smiled and motioned a finger across my neck.
