"ME?" she yelled causing Surge to flinch.

"Yes!"

"But why me?"

"Well things always turn out the way their destined to".

"Are you saying that I was destined to find this place?"

"Yes exactly"

She looked up at the large doors in front of her with a sigh "how do I open it?"

"You just hold it, and it will unlock".

"But you said that only dragons that know how can open it?"

"So, I made it more dramatic ok, it's hard being the voice in someone's head" said the voice with a huff

"Who are you?" she asked again, putting her talon on the door.

"you'll know very soon".

Reaching for the lock her talon was blocked by Surge who was giving her a worried look "are you ok Wolf?"

"What do you mean?" she replied looking confused.

"It's just from my view, you're talking to yourself and it's kind of frightful".

With a sigh she turned back to the door and its lock "you're just going to have to trust me"

"I can do that easily" said Surge taking his hand away from the lock.

"You do?" she asked.

"If I can trust anyone on this continent, it's you".

"Then let's open this up" she said putting her talons on the lock.

And just as the mysterious voice in her head had said, the lock came right off.

Wolf and Surge gasped as the doors swung open.

Inside was a large room made of marble, with large pillars holding up a large dome ceiling. The light came from two sky lights covered with foliage. large scroll racks lined the walls with most of the scrolls intact. In the middle of the room was a large table with a 3D map of Pyrrhia imbedded in it. At the end of the table was a statue of a young Rainwing leaning over the table looking at the map.

"Who's this?" asked Surge looking at the lifelike statue of the Rainwing.

"Beats me" replied Wolfeye looking over the map on the table.

"Maybe that mystery voice in your head can tell us" Suggested Surge taping lightly on the head of the statue

"Yeah, who is this?" she asked into thin air.

"That's me" replied the voice sounding sad.

"That's you!?"

"Yep, my name's Flora, nice to meet you Wolfeye".

"Why are you like this?"

"To wait for someone to restore the order of the Dragonstar".

"Order of the Dragonstar?"

"An organisation made up of dragons with the soul of the star. Whose goal was to protect the Dragonstar from evil" said Flora "get comfortable and I'll explain everything to you".

"What about Surge?" asked Wolfeye looking at the Seawing who was now browsing the scrolls on the racks.

"You can explain it to him later".

With a sigh, Wolfeye lent over the table "you can begin".

Clearing her throat, Flora began her explanation.

"In the world there are certain powers a dragon can get, some of these powers are tribe specific like fire scales or flamesilk, some are by blood line like animus magic and Leafspeak. Then there is the one that anyone can hatch with, the soul of the star or its other name Animaliaspeak. It's basically Leafspeak but with animals. It lets you take the form of one animal of your choice, no changing type of animal. When in animal form you are basically a super charged form of that animal and can speak with animals of your species. Now the Dragonstar is a talisman that contains the power and knowledge of the dragon who made it. This dragon was a skywing who had Animaliaspeak and animus magic. He spent his entire life researching his powers and then put his knowledge and power in a ten-piece star shaped necklace called the Dragonstar. With this necklace any dragon can use its magic and learn all he knew about it. So, before he died, he formed the order of the Dragonstar to protect it. The order held for about one thousand years before the queens got together to destroy the order. They caught us off guard killing all but three of us, me, Click, and Torrid. We were entrusted with hiding the Dragonstar and keeping it safe. So, we broke it up and hid it around Pyrrhia and Click took three shards with him across the ocean with the other Bettlewings and leafwings. Torrid went off under a code name and lived normally. And I, well I got encased in stone by a sympathetic animus to help restore the order when the time is right. Any questions?"

"What do I have to do?"

"Well first you'll have to find all the pieces of the Dragonstar, learn to be a Animaliaspeak user or soul of the star user (I don't care which term you use), then you'll have to find a bunch of others with the soul of the star and train them and voila you have a new order".

"You make it sound so easy" said Wolfeye with a chuckle.

"oh, it won't be easy to any extent" replied Flora

"Who'll teach me? You?"

"No, what you'll have to do is use the knowledge of the Dragonstar when you find is pieces, each shard should teach you something different. So, I guess that the best way of doing it".

"And what about you?"

"Unfortunately, I can't return to my living form anymore" replied Flora with a sigh

After thinking for a few moments, Wolfeye had an idea "what if you were to turn in to your animal form?"

Flora remained silent for a few moments before replying "I never thought of that, let me try..."

Suddenly the statue of Flora disappeared in a flash of white leaving behind a black hawk with a star shaped patch on its forehead.

"Um, can you tell me what happened?" asked Surge from across the room staring at the hawk wide eyed.

"what happened what happened is that I just turned into my alternate form" said Flora/hawk spreading her wings

Surges eye widened so much that Wolfeye thought that they would fall out of his head "It speaks!"

"duh, yes I speak, I'm a dragon like you after all" said Flora flying over and landing on Wolfeye's shoulder

"I'll explain it to you later Surge, right now you've got to tell me more about this Dragonstar" she said to Flora as she leant over the map

"So, you're really doing this?" asked Flora.

"Doing what?" asked Surge.

"Yes, if I was brought here, I was meant to do it and so that's what I'll do!"

Looking over at the shocked face of Surge she smiled at him "were going to restore the order of the Dragonstar"
