Overstory Chapters 3 and 4 (An Undertale x OC fanfic)

Normal ending scenario of previous chapter

The same thing happens but...

"Hugo..." Carter said weakly trying to smile.

"Why the hell are you smiling?!" Hugo yelled at him.

"Come on, man. Where's the Hugo I used to know back then, huh?" 

this plays:

"Shut up!" Hugo said tearing up a bit as he punched Carter to a statue. He was starting to remember all the good memories he had with Carter long ago.

"You... You loved drawing, right?" he said weakly, "You love... Anime..."

"Shut up! LEAVE ME ALONE!" Hugo shouted at him as he backed away from him while trying to hold back the tears.

"You... Loved... Video games..." 

Hugo began to panic and feel sadness at the same time.

"NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Carter approached him slowly. "Hugo... Drop your sword..." he said as he dropped his. Hugo was feeling a mixture of sadness, anger and panic.

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" he yelled as he dashed to the statue near Carter, he sliced it to half, smoke covered Hugo's vision, when it cleared, Carter was stuck under the collapsed statue.

"Please... Come with me to our new home..." his brother said.

"WHY THE HELL DO YOU REFUSE TO FIGHT ALL IN A SUDDEN?!" Hugo shouted angrily.

"Because... I know that you cared for me deep inside, brother..." Carter said smiling weakly. "You... You and Catherine were the only people who cared about me since the time our parents died, remember?"

Hugo cannot take it anymore, he dropped his sword and cried.

Kurayami teleported beside Carter and sliced his head off. 

"CARTER!!!!!!!!" Hugo shouted in grief.

"You disappoint me, Hugo." the demon said coldly. "I thought you wanted power, right?"

Enraged, Hugo picked up his sword and charged. Kurayami grabbed him by the neck and threw him off the tower.

Hugo's last sight was Kurayami looking down at him from the tower before everything went black.
