Character Concept

Okay, to start, in case you haven't noticed, is that yes, Cobalt is the Gizoid that I use for my online persona "Cobalt Gemini". In fact, Cobalt was specifically made as my persona for my online accounts, and is my main Gizoid.

But I just want you to understand that I am not the kind of person who likes to self-insert. Cobalt is in no way based on who I am in real life. He is his own character, who I came up with to use for my online presence. Also, I am not afraid to talk about my real self (outside of things you really should keep not put online), it's just that I don't typically have a reason to do so. I simply wanted to create a cool character to represent myself. And I don't see any harm in doing that.

Finally, my username is "Cobalt Gemini" (or "Cobalt-Gemini", on DeviantArt), but the Gizoid's name is simply "Cobalt". He didn't even have a title at first, like my other Gizoid Originals, until I started writing the Archives. So don't confuse him with me, okay? Thank you.

Now, as for Cobalt (and my username), Cobalt is a showcase of my favorite game series, Sonic the Hedgehog, as cobalt blue was the original color shade Sonic was in the classic games (and Gemini is my zodiac sign (born May 27th, 1998). Not that I follow Astrology and that kind of stuff, but I thought it was neat).

Cobalt, as my persona Gizoid, this is actually his second version. He has a few things I thought were neat, such as a cool scarf (what can I say, I'm a Papyrus fan). I decided to give him a buddy, a "Dark Omochao" named Trick (because why not). And as I thought more about his character, I decided he would use Hyper-Go-Ons, the life energy of the Wisps, and their color powers.

Cobalt and Trick's Designs

Cobalt, as his name suggests, is a cobalt blue Gizoid, emerald green lines spread around his body. These lines are actually dim lights, and they'll change colors to whatever Color Power he is using at the time, and his eyes do the same. They are emerald green by default, and change colors with the current Color Power (this is not reflected in his image, simply for effect, and getting his regular details).

If Cobalt is using two Color Powers in a combined Skill, half the lights on his body, including one eye, will glow one color, and the other half will glow the other color.

Cobalt also has decorative gears built into his design, around the screws on the side of his head and his bicep rods.

Cobalt wears a red scarf with circuit designs on it, and on the lower left of his torso plate, he has a decal of a purple gear in purple flames painted, like a robot tattoo.

He also has a friendship with an Omochao made in the image of a Dark Chao, named Trick. Trick is a black robotic Chao with pumpkin-orange eyes, and the design of a sharp-toothed grinning mouth of the same color. His hands and feet were red, and his flying propeller was a set of actual blades, similar to a blender's blades.
