Corinne had just arrived at an intersection that led to headquarters when she spotted Eren fighting off Titans surround the castle. This was good, that meant he was keeping them distracted while she went inside. She had no time to waste as she didn't know whether there were any Titans inside the building or if any cadets were in desperate need of help.

"Okay, Eren..you do your part. I'll do mine." Corinne muttered, taking off again towards headquarters. There was a large opening that had been smashed in, and it was definitely big enough for her to get through, but also for a Titan to reach in at any given moment. She had to be fast.

She had just arrive inside the opening when a shadow had lumped just above her.

"You've gotta be kidding me.." She whispered, looking back and seeing a Titan smiling down at her with a sinister look in it's eyes. She backed up quickly, making her way slowly towards the set of stairs leading down below. The Titan had reached it's arm in, attempting to grab Corinne when it was pulled back from the hole. A few thumps after and suddenly Eren came into view, his eyes looking Corinne's way.

"T-Thanks." She called to him, receiving a huff in return before he took off again. Corinne wasted no time and ran down the stairs towards the second floor. There was another set of stairs she had to take to get to the first floor where she hoped the other cadets would be resupplying from. But she was surprised when she saw all the cadets were still on the second floor, some sitting around, others were talking amongst themselves.

"What the hell is going on?" She called, grabbing Marco and a few others' attention. "You're alive! We got worried when we didn't see you with the others."

Marco approached Corinne, placing a hand on her shoulder and flashing her a relieved smile. However, Corinne didn't return it. Instead she stood, her face scrunched in confusion.

"I'm fine, but what are you all doing just standing here?" Corinne asked, Marco sighing, his hands resting down to his hips as he looked over at the ledge, which looked down onto the ground floor. "Come see for yourself."

Both him and Corinne walked over to it, Corinne looking over and seeing a few Titans roaming underneath them. One even jerked it's head up to them, as if it knew the two were there. Corinne felt her stomach turn at the sight of it before she looked away, her face slightly pale.

"I knew it..I had a feeling Titans got in.." Corinne mumbled, running her hands through her hair as she exhaled deeply. "So, do we have a plan?"

"We have an idea. It's crazy, but Armin insists it will work." Marco stated, Corinne letting out something that almost sounded like a laugh. "Of course he did. One thing I know about Armin is that he's adamant when everyone else isn't. So, what's this idea?"

"Captain, all preparations have been completed. We're ready to move out!"

"Good." He was not okay with this plan at all. Another expedition to take back Shiganshina? What's next, they're going to bring back Titan pets with them? Levi had a feeling something was going to happen and somehow, the Section Commander, Hange, was always in the middle of it. If there's one thing he knew about them, they like to find trouble. Even when it's already right in front of them.

Levi walked off to inform Commander Erwin and Hange when suddenly he felt something. It was faint, but he could feel some distress. But it wasn't from him. So what was it?

"The hell's going on with me today? I was fine this morning.." Levi mumbled to himself, continuing to walk towards the base tent. As soon as he made it inside, he spotted Hange arguing with Erwin nearby and he soon began to feel annoyed. For days, Hange has done nothing but gone on and on about attempting to capture Titans to study them, but they knew it was too risky and far too dangerous.

Bad enough they would lose soldiers trying to reclaim Shiganshina and Wall Maria itself, but to trying to capture Titans before they even reach there? It was entirely out of the question.

"For the last time, Hange, I will not risk my soldiers' lives over a theory of yours. I did not coordinate this expedition to capturing live Titans." Erwin explained calmly yet he was stern. He must have been getting tired of Hange asking this, too. It was written practically all over his face if you looked hard enough. "But if we don't understand these Titans and experiment on, how are we going to be able to eliminate the Armored and Colossal Titan?"

Though Hange says that, Levi knew there were other reasons but he kept it to himself, annoyed enough by their persistence on this topic.

"If you two are done with your little quarrel, we're ready to move out." Levi simply announced to them both, their heads turning and their gazes meeting Levi's already agitated one. "I see. Thank you, Levi."

Levi mumbled a 'whatever' before he slipped out the tent again, sighing heavily while rubbing the bridge of his nose.

And he thought dealing with Corinne as a child was difficult. Hange is even worse and they're an adult!

A gust of wind came by, but to Levi, it was more than that. Something felt off about it. It came again, but this time, he heard something very odd. He thought it was a trick of the wind, but then he focused on it and it suddenly turned into small whispers. He couldn't make out the words, but he knew it was voices. It had to be.

The third time the wind came, he heard a voice, it was distorted but the words came clear as day.

"..Sasha..look out!"

His eyes went wide, his throat tightening with shock. He knew that voice like the back of his hand. It was his daughter, Corinne. Even distorted, he knew it was her. But how is that possible? There's no way this is possible. But then he thought about it. The feeling of distress..

He himself didn't feel distressed. If anything, he was feeling agitated at the time. But the distress..

It had to be Corinne. He could feel it. Something happened in Trost. And from what he had just heard..she must have been dealing with Titans.

"Corinne..?" He mumbled, as if calling her name would respond to her warning. However, he didn't expect another gust of wind again to come by and her voice rang out again in a distorted tone.

"..Dad..?"
