I swiftly headed back to the hotel of course, for a change of clothes. Jude wouldn't want to see me in his enemy team shirt that he'd just lost to. I slipped on a yellow crop top and tight jeans, better than in blue. He wouldn't want to be reminded.
We were meeting up in the hills - just more far off into the nature. I enjoyed hiking, but not in the winter. I remembered back when I was a little kid me, Mason and Dec would go walk around the park - mostly in our football kits and things.
I wasn't much of a football person - just tried it a few times, and Mason even offered to post me to the Chelsea Academy. But I played the simplest form, just kicking a fiddling around with the ball. I'd sometimes tried to nutmeg Declan and Mason, and it worked if I was lucky or aware.
"You play school football as well!" I protested when I was back in Primary, hanging out with both of them and things. "It's not like I can't play because I nutmegged you both before. It's unfair they don't let year twos play football."
"Well, they'll let you play when you're in year three," Mason, who was six years older than me, in Year Eight, picked me up and placed me in the bed. "For now, you're my favourite sibling and you need a nap. Come on, mum ordered it."
"I hate you," Six year old me grumbled as he pulled the covers up to my chin. "Afternoon."
"Afternoon, whatever," Mason chuckled as I turned to one side, curling up the Chelsea blanket I had. As usual, me and Mason had gotten along so well mum had let me share a room with him. When I was little, of course. Then we separated rooms, and it was horrid. "You better fall asleep, and when we wake up we'll play football with Declan."
Ah, the good old times.
I hadn't even known anything about football clubs back then, only screaming Chelsea at my schoolmates every second. But here I am now, stuck between the desicion of being with Dortmund or Chelsea. Mason wasn't confident with me just choosing a random club to support, he wanted me to know what I was about to support.
Just so he made sure, I chose Chelsea for first choice.
It was impossible to climb up the hills. It was high and away from Dortmund, so I took a taxi. The driver looked at me weirdly when I mentioned those hills, but he never bothered to do anything about it. He got me to the destination, and that was all I cared.
My phone rang loudly against my pocket.
"Geez, Charlie, we're fine, we're not breaking up," Came Mase's voice as soon as I accepted. "Hey, sis. You got in with Jude yet?"
"In? I forgot to mention a slightly detail," I giggled. "We're up in the hills."
"Oh, you're fucking messed up, sis," Mason chuckled. "Anyways, call me if you have any problems. Me and Charlie and the rest of the Chelsea squad are heading off to a night club to dance the night away. You sure you don't wanna bring Jude?"
"No, I'm sure he wants me up the hills," I began walking up the stony pathway with metal railings surrounding both sides. "I mean, this is a faraway place from Dortmund, so you'll have to drive in order to track me down."
"Shut up, I'm not about to track you off, sis," Mason snorted. "Bye - your best friend is annoying me."
"Bye, and it's called love in her point of view," I explained. "Have a good time, brother. I'll see you back at the airport tomorrow anyways."
"Okay, bye," Mason screamed. "CHARLIE! STOP, I DON'T HAVE ANY-" The phone hung up. Charlie was at least treating my brother good, that was all I cared for. If Mason was happy, I would be. Just a sibling thing we made pact with.
