My dads gave me a huge piece of cake to celebrate my birthday. Problem is, my real birthday only happens once every four years, so I feel bad about getting gifts today...
Without everyone looking after me, I'd surely have ended up alone in some forgotten corner of the world. No way I'd be as happy as I am today.
So... I prepared some gifts for them in return. And I also got something for you!
You're important to me, too. I—I want to show you how thankful I am...
If I could make a wish today, I'd wish for... for you to keep me company on my real birthday too, hahaha.
Oh, right! The egg might look slightly charred, but I'm sure it's perfectly edible! I cooked an extra portion to try myself before giving one to you. It's totally safe, so tuck in!

Walking into the big building of the Adventurers Guild in Mondtstad Lumine looked around for the face of Bennett.
Eventually spotting him because of his white hair she and Paimon walked up to him "Heya Bennett," she casually greeted making the young adventurer whip around to see who called his name.
"Lumine! And Paimon too! You came! All right, it truly is my lucky day!" the young boy cheered as he gave the air a fist bump.
Lumine looked around the group real quick, spotting Fischl and Razor.
"I see you're celebrating with your best friends only," she said, making Bennett look at her then his friends and then back at Lumine and Paimon once more.
"Oh, yeah, right now that's the case. The celebration with the guild happened a few hours ago," Bennett explained quickly, "But I wanted a special celebration with my best friends as well," he said with excitement.
"Bennett, good friend," Razor said with a smile.
"Yes, Bennett has the honor of being joined by me on the almost day of his creation, for I, Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, will bless this day. May his wicked curse of bad luck be ineffective, as I wish it so," Fischl spoke elegantly as Oz by her side translated.
"Mein Fräulein is hoping young Bennett's bad luck won't ruin his birthday," the night raven translated accurately.
Bennett smiled as he looked at Fischl "Thanks, I hope for the exact same thing," he said then facing Lumine again "Too bad it isn't actually my birthday," he said with a small sigh.
"Not real birthday?" Razor asked, confused.
Bennett scratched the back of his head with a small chuckle, "Yeah... My real birthday is the 29th of February, but that day only comes around every four years," he said, his smile still present on his face.
"That's so sad, it must be weird for you to only be able to celebrate your real birthday once every four years," Paimon said as she held a piece of cake in her tiny hands.
"Oh it's quite alright, I just celebrated a day early is all," Bennet said as he put his hands behind his back casually.
"One who has the privilege of being birthed on a day so special it may only appear once every four years is surely destined to have a grand fate waiting for him," Fischl said as she placed her hand on Bennett's shoulder with a smile on her face.
"Yeah, I suppose so," he replied as Razor looked at Fischl, dumbfounded by the words the young girl just spoke.
Lumine chuckled "Well then, seems your adventure is never ending right Bennett," she said as she grabbed a small box out of her backpack "In that case I bet this will be quite handy," she added, giving Bennett the box.
"Oh swell, a gift you didn't have to Lumine," Bennett said happily as he opened the simple red box by untying the yellow ribbon around it.
Inside sat a small compass, "Aw man, another compass to go haywire in my possession," he said with a small sigh.
"Not quite," Lumine said "I had it enchanted by a good friend of mine, it should be near unbreakable," she added with a proud smile.
"An enchanted compass that may guide your way forevermore," Fischl said with stars in her visible eye.
"Magic compass," Razor stated simply as he sniffed the silver compass in Bennett's hand.
Lumine laughed a little, hearing the two reactions which were so opposite to one another yet mean the exact same thing.
"It's perfect," Bennett said as he kept staring at the silver compass in his hands "If it truly never breaks that means I'll never get lost as long as I carry it with me," he added as he finally looked up at Lumine and Paimon "Thank you both so, so much!" he said with excitement.
"Anything for a friend," Paimon said with a small wink and Lumine nodded "Yeah you deserve some good luck in your life Bennett," she said with a smile.
"Who needs good luck when I have the best friends in the whole wide world," Bennett said as he wrapped his arms around Fischl and Razor.
Lumine smiled at the happy sight in front of her, it did her good to see Bennett so happy.
"Well then, if that's the case then you're always lucky, Bennett. You've got loads of friends who care about you after all," Lumine said, and Paimon nodded in agreement as she stuffed her little face with cake.
Bennett smiled happily as he faced both of them "Yeah, you're definitely right about that one, awe man, best early birthday ever!" he said in excitement, their evening was filled with happy chatter and festivities until the moon had long shown its face at the horizon.
Laughter and cheers filled the Adventurers Guild until it was time for the festivities to end. It was truly a day to remember.
