A Domestic Disturbance, or, Laid Off

A couple was struggling with their marriage. The husband had recently lost his job and was depressed as he waited to hear from the few prospects available. On a few occasions he was out eating and his wife saw the bank receipts. Ideas that she really didn't want to have started coming to mind. "Was he out with someone or just himself? Could he be cheating?" It was only a couple times a week and always while he was out hunting for a job, but the thoughts festered in her mind.

Then one day, she overheard someone at work talk about a nanny cam. The cogs started to turn and she decided to get one "just for reassurances" that her husband wasn't doing anything at home. So she bought one and wondered where to place it. "Near the front door?... No, that's no good. The bedroom! Certainly anything would likely go on in there."

So she found a good place near the bedroom tv to hide the camera. It took her days to get up the nerve to actually look at the feed on her phone. She watched a few minutes and nothing was there. Her husband wasn't working at his desk near the bed. He wasn't even in the room. A wave of relief came over her. She thought about how silly she must've been working herself up to such actions.

She didn't view the feed for several days and almost forgot about it until seeing restaurant receipts three straight days around the same time. She thought about it and determined that if he was cheating, he might have been bringing "his friend" over to their apartment after these "lunch dates". So she waited and started to watch the feed at the appropriate time. Her husband was there at his desk and turned to look towards the doorway and stood up. She continued to watch and became angry with what see saw...

The wife, seething with anger, called her husband. He answered, "Hello honey" "Don't you dare!", she exclaimed. Surprised at her response he asked, "What's wrong?" Her voice quivered from anger, "The naked girl!" The husband was confused and said, "Wha—" as she hung up on him. He tried calling back and texting to no avail.

When the wife looked down at the screen her husband was standing in the middle of the bedroom alone and looked confused. She knew what she had seen, a naked woman with long blonde hair stepping into the room just before she called.

That night after work she wouldn't talk about it. After some prying she finally told him, "I knew you were cheating and I'm gonna prove it." He got angry and exclaimed, "I'm not cheating! Are you crazy or something?" She gave him no further response and only huffed a few times. They said nothing else that night and went to bed in silence.

The next day around the same time she called again and asked, "Who is the naked girl?" He responded, "What are you talking about? Where?" She said angrily that she could see her. He was confused and asked, "What do you mean? Where?", and she hung up.

When she got home she demanded her husband had to leave because of cheating, but he pleaded stating that he hadn't done so. She again asked about the naked girl. He said there wasn't one. She said she caught her on a camera that was secretly set up in the bedroom because she wanted to know if he was doing anything he shouldn't. He was irate that his wife had a camera and wanted to know when it was placed and where. She wouldn't show him so he assumed it was a lie to get him to do or say something, although he didn't know what. He wasn't sure what she was getting at, but he hoped to find out.

The next day she called again and told him, "Get that naked bitch out of my house right now!" He replied angrily, "What? There's no one else here!" The wife emphatically said, "The camera is by the tv and I caught you with her. She's right there now! I can see that bitch standing there!" The husband replied, "There's no one but me here!" She said, "Then there's a ghost!" Her husband, still not believing a camera was there, said, "I guess so!" She then claimed she was recording it all and could see her by the dresser. So he stood up, waved his arms around, and said, "You see, there's no one here!" She immediately hung up, leaving him perplexed. He patiently waited the rest of the day for her to callback.

That night when she got off work the wife looked nervous and her husband professed, "I promise I didn't do anything!" She walked through the home not saying a word. She reached the bedroom and picked up a tiny thing by the tv and said with a quivering voice, "Ca-camera". He was livid that she'd do such a thing and just looked at her. His wife, trembling, said, "I'll play it." So they sat down and played the video.

He was on the edge of the bed and then a naked woman walked into view and smiled at him. He looked up towards the tv, but it didn't seem like he looked at the mysterious woman. She walked over to him and then he picked up the phone. The naked woman crossed her arms and looked aggravated. He was talking on the phone while she mouthed words mocking the conversation and put her hands on her hips. He suddenly stood up and waved his arms around. They went through the mysterious woman's breasts and he stepped through her before sitting back down. Then she disappeared. That was when his wife hung up.

The couple looked at each other in shock!

His wife apologized and in time they repaired their damaged relationship... after moving into a new place.

He later recounted this strange story to his former coworker, his girlfriend, that also got fired at the same time when they were caught fucking in his office.
