-flashback-

"Hailee I don't want to do this right now I was at work for 12 hours straight and I have a headache," Y/n says tiredly while setting her keys on the counter.

"Really Y/n?! You say we need to communicate with each other better but you don't want to talk!" Hailee yells. She never listens to y/n. She said she was going to have a long day on set and that she shouldn't expect her to be back until midnight but of course, Hailee didn't listen.

Y/n walks upstairs to their shared room dropping her jacket and bag. She goes to their bathroom and begins taking off her makeup in the mirror. She hears Hailee stomping up the stairs and she already knows what's coming.

"God you- you see you're running away from your problems! You are the most selfish person I've ever met. Are you cheating on me? Is that why you came home at midnight?!" she yells at the younger woman. Y/n turns to stare at Hailee in the mirror with a look of disbelief.

She suddenly turns around pointing a finger in Hailee's face. "I wasn't home because I was at work and if you would fucking listen to me for one goddamn second like a good girlfriend would then you would've known that!" She yells. This was her last time putting up with this and she was finally standing up for herself.

"I've had enough I'm- I'm done. I'm leaving you." The girl says going to get her suitcase.

-present day-

"We had our good moments ya know," Hailee tells her friends with tears streaming down her face. "Hailee, we know how hard this has been for you for the past couple of months but you were a shitty girlfriend to her," Ella says raising her eyebrows and shrugging her shoulders.

"I know, I know I just wish that I could change what I did back then. I wish I could've been better for her."

-flashback-

"Baby I need to go, I have to go film the rest of the music video" hailed says smiling at Y/n. "I know, I know just kiss me," she says with an innocent look on her face. "If I kiss you I won't be able to stop," she says with a small smile getting and putting one of y/ns shirts on.

Y/n walks up to her attaching her lips to Hailees. They start making out and Y/n slowly moves down sucking on the actress's neck. Hailee whimpers but stops before it could move any further. "Okay, okay I have to go now before I'm gonna be late. I love you!" she says while walking towards the front door turning around to blow y/n a kiss.

-Flashback to a couple of days after the break up-

Hailee asked her friends to come over. It had been 3 days since y/n left her and she hated sitting in the house that held all of their memories by herself, so she invited Florence and Taylor over.

She also invited them over so she could tell them about the breakup. They've always loved her and y/n together so now Hailee was sitting on the couch with the two girls trying to find out how to tell them.

"Okay, guys I need to say something" Hailee finally says pursing her lips and turning off the tv. The brown-haired actress stands up in from of the tv pressing her hands together while looking between the confused girls.

"Okay, what is it?" Florence asks rolling her eyes. "So Y/n broke up with me like 3 days ago," she says sitting back down and looking at the girls with her head resting on her fist.

"You're kidding me right, she's kidding right?" Taylor looks between Hailee and then Florence with a look of disbelief. "No, no I am not," Hailee says shaking her head. Taylor gets up rubbing her temples and pacing back and forth

"So why didn't you tell me three days ago? you know I'm your biggest shopper out there! Ugh," she says looking at the younger girl and falling on the couch dramatically. Hailee just shrugs carelessly. There's a moment of silence while Taylor sends the girl a disappointed look. She knew it was probably her fault for the breakup.

Florence gets up going to the kitchen "soooooo, anyone want some more popcorn?"

-Time skip to the Oscars afterparty-

"Hailee calm down I'm sure y/n won't be here tonight" Billie simply says while sipping the drink that was in her hand. " you say that but next think you know she's gonna fucking pop up out of nowhere," she says worriedly turning away from the mirror and looking at Billie.

They'd already finished the Oscars, thankfully she didn't see y/n there but they'd just gotten to the afterparty, and hailed was worried. Everyone goes to the afterparty what if she saw y/n there? She hadn't seen her in 4 months. what if she moved on already?

There were so many thoughts racing through her head but Billie just dragged her out of the bathroom to their group of friends which included Eiza Gonzalez, Phoebe Tonkin, and Florence Pugh.

She and all of her friends start talking about her new single sun kissing that's about to come out until they all look in the direction behind her. "Okay don't loom but y/n did in fact just walk in with Mikey Madison," Florence says with a look of shock on her face.

Hailee turns toward Billie pointing a finger in her face "what did I tell you, Billie what did I tell you" she says whisper shouting, and throwing her hands in the air.

Hailee turns around and sees Y/n by the entrance with Mikey Madison at her side. The thing that really got Hailee was that they looked so good together. Y/n really looked happy and Mikey looks like she loves Y/n a lot.

It's only after that she acknowledges her dress was red. Hailee's favorite color. It was also the dress she wore on the last date they had together.

"Bitch close your mouth its literally wide open. You cannot show your reaction." Florence tells her. "They look stunning together and she looks so good and they look so happy together-" her rambling gets cut off by Phoebe giving her an alcoholic drink.

"I said I wasn't going to drink tonight guys" hailed says while rolling her eyes. "Okay well, you're gonna need it, hun. Trust me" Hailee just touches her shoulders watching them from afar with a slight pout.

-flashback to Y/n and hailed first date-

Hailee walks out of the bathroom after fixing her hair. She sees y/n standing in front of their full-body mirror putting her earrings on. Hailee walks up to the younger girl wrapping her arms around her from behind.

It's only when she looks in the mirror that she's able to take in Y/N's full outfit. She was wearing a beautiful red dress that went just above her knee with a necklace that had Hailee's first initial on it. "You look so pretty for me" she says kissing down y/ns neck

"I love you so much"
